Bar Restorant Libohova

After sightseeing at a few of the local areas, we decided on a quick five minute visit into Libohove may be interesting. We stumbled across this quiet little gem. A lovely couple with limited English and our non Albanian language seemed like a struggle, but despite the barrier we were able to order a beautiful 10 year old bottle of homemade wine. It is their winter here in February and much is closed and menu items are limited. This wonderful couple went out of their way to serve us a fresh salad with all personally grown vegetables. Fresh homemade bread, cheese and homegrown kiwis. The gentleman even shared some of his prepared lunch, a tender beef and bean mix, delicious. What a nice couple. This was a wonderful finish to our day. We would love to come back when the Trout are available, we are sure it would be amazing. Thank you so much for your generous hospitality. Oh my … it’s so hard to believe that we found this amazing place- we veered off path and this was our ultimate reward- the “husband and wife team” were the most wonderful people and they went well out of their way to make us a beautiful lunch using all of their homegrown ingredients and since we were visiting off season ( February) they were definitely not expecting lunch guests but the lunch we had was one of the best meals we have had since we started our Albania adventure - we can only say that if you ever have the opportunity to visit this wonderful place be sure to stop in and enjoy one of the best homemade meals that you are going to find - we want to thank the lovely owners as well as a few locals we shared our afternoon with ! Going off the beaten path almost always comes with a large reward. This place is that reward. We were greeted with warm, genuine hospitality - above and beyond. Even received a tour of the garden and we're shown the fresh trout being caught by the net. A lovely way to wind down after a long day on the road.

A nice café that serves a variety of beverages and locally produced food. You can have your meal sitting under the huge centuries-old tree that provides a pleasant shade even in the hottest hours. The staff will tell you the history of the site.

Ne hotel Linohovea

Un jour de forte pluie, pas d'autre client. Super accueil, on nous amène dans la cuisine pour nous montrer le plat du jour tout juste sorti du four. Nous avons bien déjeuner au chaud et au sec. Je recommande.

Un accueil très chaleureux, la serveuse était très souriante et parlait très bien anglais
Le cadre est très agréable, à l’ombre de ce platane majestueux.
Un menu simple mais très goûteux.
Mention spéciale pour l’eau de rose gentiment conseillée par la serveuse .
Une envie indéniable du patron de partager l’histoire de son village et de cet arbre.

Ein tolles Erlebnis unter dieser uralten Platane zu sitzen und zu essen. Die Forellen sind fangfrisch, köstlich und das Gemüse super gegrillt und gewürzt. Super freundliche Familie. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

Wir haben unter der rund 650 Jahre alten, wunderschönen Platane zu Mittag gegessen. Das Restaurant wird von einer Familie geführt, die zwar wenig Englisch spricht aber dennoch unglaublich gastfreundlich und herzlich ist!
Wir haben uns für die gegrillten Forellen entschieden, die kaum hätten frischer sein können! 😍 Sie wurden frisch gefangen und direkt draußen über dem Grill gegrillt. Die Forelle war köstlich und butterweich! 🥰 Der Salat war frisch und zum Dessert gab es als Überraschung noch frisch geerntete Feigen aus dem Garten der Familie. Absolute Empfehlung!!

Trotz Stromausfall in der Stadt haben wir sehr gut gegessen. Großer Salat, super leckerer Käse, frisches Brot..
Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Der Käse und das Gemüse kamen direkt aus der Gegend. In der kleinen Stadt waren wir gefühlt die einzigen Touristen.

Sehr schöne Lage, gutes Essen und freundliche Personal. Man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Sauber und gemütlich. Zu empfehlen.
