Life's A Beach

Such a beautiful spot! Thank you for making it such a lovely part of my trip.
I stayed in the tent which despite the heat stays well ventilated with the AC. It has a lovely deck to overlook the sea and the restaurant area. I used this part of the trip to chill out, read books and catch up on sleep and it fulfilled all those aims. Good food and drink, great happy hour prices. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are very kind and friendly. Thank you again!

This place is a stunning hostel, with rooms to suit any budget. I stayed in three different rooms and all of them were clean, comfortable and free from issues.

Don't be put off by slightly higher prices - the experience and hospitality are worth it. You will be flooded with free drinks and generosity every night. Make friends through various activities and games.

The beach is clean and private, fun to battle the waves and everyone here is super friendly and chilled. The vibe is better than most hostels out there.

Steve and Gavin are absolute legends and I will definitely return. An unforgettable experience for sure. ❤

We had the absolute best stay here in whole of Vietnam. The rooms were great and tidy, AC worked. The staff was genuinely nice and we felt super welcome as well as entertained each evening by game nights and Smash Ball with Steve!! Lovely views and great waves to swim in and spend your day, you can also rent bikes and go hike up a little river to a waterfall, food was super delicious (especially the Family Dinner!!) and the cooking class was also fun. Absolutelt stunning hostel!! The people are lovely and the hostel curates such a great vibe. If you want to chill on basically a private beach then this is the hostel!!!

We spent here 5 nights. Room with a sea view is clean and spacious, AC worked perfectly, bed is comfy and bathroom is clean. Gavin and Steve who run this place and all the staff working there is super helpful and friendly. The food is simple but tasty, you can have either local rice with chicken or a burger. Breakkies are tasty as well, including the English one :) we loved the games, quizzes, bingo and atmosphere all around. If you wanna chill and take a break from the traveling around, this is a place for you.

Amazing place! The hotel is located at the lovely little bay. Personel was super kind and helpful, food was really good! I can recommend the place for families, solo travelers and groups!

I skipped some of the bigger tourist destinations in favour of some time by the sea. Wasn't sure if that was a good idea on my way there, but no regrets!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. From being greeted with a welcome beer, to friendly hugs goodbye, everything about this place was perfect. Beautiful private beach and lovely bar for chilling with a beer. The dorm was really comfortable, clean and spacious. The best thing about this place is the staff - the most attentive and genuine people I've met while travelling. I loved our family dinners, boat trip and chilled drinks in the evening - no pressure to join, you can do your own thing or be part of the group as you wish.

We found this amazing place on the way from Tuy Hoa to Quy Nhon. In the middle of nowhere, out of the cities, we had a wonderful night and met a bunch of interesting people.
They had gathering-dinner for guests and played game together.
Amazing hosts, cute 🐶, friendly staffs. (Love Sandyyyyy).
It was so cozy and fun to talk and share about our trips with eachother. We stayed until 4 in the morning to have deep talk with strangers on the beach. 🤣
Definitely a place for making new friends and good experience.

Very chill hostel! Social atmosphere is calm but intimate, and the family dinners are a great way to meet new people!

Me and my mates had a fantastic experience. We intended on only staying 1 night but enjoyed it so much decided to stay longer. The hostel is set in a perfect location with super helpful and friendly staff. The staff even posted a lost item of clothing to me! Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay with a great balance of fun and relaxation. Friendly and helpful staff that will make you feel right at home. Great drinks and food available all day. Amazing location overlooking the sea with a quiet beach to swim and lounge around. Would highly recommend Life’s a Beach!

This place is a perfect get away. The beach is a dream like picture with fishing boats in the distance at night The sound of the sea drifts you to sleep. The bungalows with ac are superb with really high quality bedding - deep luxurious pillows The sea view rooms at the front are also wonderful. The staff here are excellent. Whilst Steve the co owner welcomed us with a much needed cold beer - he also got involved with guests as much or as little as you need. You can choose to join the family Vietnamese dinner and it is by far the best value dinner I have eaten in Vietnam. Delicious and loads of vegetarian options. Games you can join if you wish but you can also choose to just lie on the comfortable lounger overlooking the sea and just chill. The Icing on the cake are the wonderful Vietnamese staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always willing to chat , help out and in general were such a joy to meet. I intend to come back to Vietnam after being here a year at this stage and one of my first escapees will be to this spot - I may not leave Steve 🤣. You have been warned !!! Absolutely loved this place. This is been my favorite stay in Vietnam.
The staff as amazing as well. They take real interest in trying to remember your name and make you really feel included.

They take you on daily activities/excursions. One was to a waterfall. The other was two the mysterious monkey Island. It was a very fun time being at this hostel it does not feel like a hostel. It feels more like a resort and the place is amazing, relaxing they have great food family dinners every night and an amazing sunrise every single morning.

Felt like I could stay there for years.

Only issue I had with the place was the water. The ability for running water was not available for showering or washing hands at all times up in the bathroom stalls very low, water, pressure and sometimes no water at all for majority of a couple hours.

Loved our stay here, Steve and Gavin were perfect hosts and the communal dinners offered great food and lots of fun. Real mix of backpackers and families that worked well. We loved the boat trip to the island too. All very affordable, would definitely recommend. Edit; now we are home this stop (we had 6 stops in Vietnam) was voted as top for hospitality, drinks, atmosphere and accommodation, you should not hesitate to book here.

I didn’t stay at the location, I called in to see a friend who was staying there and what a night. Steve - the host, could not have been more welcoming or fun. The layout of the place was lovely, picnic tables in the sand. We played drinking games with bingo, flip cup and my first time playing ‘smashball’. It was just so much fun and brought everyone together. The beers were cheap, they kindly did cash back for me so I could pay with card and not have to go to an ATM the next morning. One of the staff even dropped my back to my accommodation. A great place and I wished I had stayed there.

I popped down one afternoon on my trip for a beer after hearing about the place from friends.
Wow! I changed my flights so I could spend the night in this little hidden paradise. It has a beautiful, private golden sands cove, excellent service with a great family atmosphere and cheap beer!
The bed was one of the comfiest I've slept in, and if I could have moved it down to the beach then I would have!
Look forward to my next visit.

100/10. Incredible place, atmosphere, staff are lovely and the activities planned are so much fun. Definitely recommend. Great laugh & lots of games. My girlfriend left her bikini and Steve was nice enough to sort it out for her and made sure she got it back. Will be back one day.

The best down to earth- beach vibes you can get. The private beach was awesome, my friends and I sometimes were just swimming completely alone and had the whole beach to ourselves. The owners and the staff really seem to love what they are doing. It feels like one big family. Every day there were activities you could join for a fair price or even for free! The room with beach- view was more than we could ask for.
