The main reason that we visited this Gành Đá Dĩa is to get a feeling of how this experience would be differed from Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff experience.

For those who had visited Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff, Jeju Island, S. Korea, I'll strongly recommend this place amen you have your first chance.

The 2 experiences perfectly complement each other, and visiting one without the other will be like missing out half of the experience.

Such beautiful rock reef formation located 40 km north of Tuy Hoa City. Worth visiting! can also follow the coastal road of Tuy Hoa to Ganh Da Dia with a longer distance about 35km. Upon stumbling this road, you ve got the chances to see further famous tourist spots in Phu Yen, i.e Bai Xep beach, Long Thuy beach, or Yen Cape, etc.

It can be said that the beauty of Da Dia Reef in Phu Yen is really a miracle of nature. The type of rock here is basalt that formed 200 million years ago. Ghenh Da Dia is created by the eruption of extremely hot lava flows that shrink when meeting the cold heat of sea water, forming interesting rocks. From a distance, it looks very much like a giant beehive, standing out in the middle of the clear blue sea, adding more fancifulness to it. You will see that there are places where the rocks are stacked high and straight, then there are places where the rocks are stretched and tilted like a stack of dishes, maybe that's why the name Ghenh Da Dia

Very special place to visit like the kings causeway in Asia. The place isn’t too big but amazing enough. Unattended during sunrise time so we didn’t pay for tickets

The most unique and beautiful spot for photos in Phu Yen province. Definitely a must-see if you are in Phu Yen.

Its a seashore area with basalt rock columns uniformly interlocked. This gives the area an unique and special look that cant find somewhere else.

Perfect spot for chilling or having a picnic. Plenty of good angles for great photos.

Very popular, getting busy with tourist trying to capture nice photos. Best to go at sunrise or sunset of course.

Having toilet in the car park and some local shops too.

Free to enter, no charge when we went in May 2022.

Overall, highlight of Phu Yen province. You cant miss this!

A wonder of nature, great place to visit and take photo
Just 1 minor thing, ticket is ok but pay for a ride only ~150m is not reasonable for me

Tickets: 20,000 VND/ pax; electric cart 5,000 VND/one-way trip/pax (optional)
Recommend walking because from the gate to scene just 500 meters
Electric cart stops serving at 5PM.
The scene and walking roads were still good, but there was garbage by the tourists.
The scene was really beautiful and suitable for enjoying sunset.

Ghenh Da Dia - The area is about 100 meters wide and 250 meters long, composed of an estimated 35,000 columns of basalt rocks. The rocks are dark lava columns with roughly flat surfaces of different shapes - round, pentagon, hexagon, polygon etc. Ghenh Da Dia looks like a gigantic beehive or a pile of dinner plates, hence the name – Ghenh Da Dia (The Sea Cliff of Stone Plates).

One of top unique 5 Reef in the world, need to go once in life!

Vietnamese giants causeway, the most popular attraction if you're in the area. Strongly recommend to visit as there's not many places around that match its beauty

A must see destination in Phu Yen province. The geometry of the lava cones is amazing. There are also tons of tide pools full of interesting wildlife. The scenery is some of the best that you'll get in Vietnam. Is also extremely affordable being just 20k for one adult.

Unique place where hot burning lava and whipping cool sea might have caused thermal expansion and contraction simultaneously leaving the cracks everywhere on the rocks and excellent for us to see now.Alas!millions of years might have elapsed and how fortunate we are to feel the rhythm of the floating land on the sea. They have created small passage along the circumference where you can feel the bird view of sea and rocks melted by the water which is good for photography if you have little more time.

Ganh Da Dia (Gành Đá Dĩa or Ghềnh Đá Dĩa in Vietnamese, literally means The Sea Cliff of Stone Plates) is a seashore area of uniformly interlocking basalt rock columns located along the coast in An Ninh Dong Commune, Tuy An District, Phu Yen Province, Vietnam.

The area is about 100 meters wide and 250 meters long, composed of an estimated 35,000 columns of basalt rocks.

These rock columns were created from volcanic eruptions millions of years ago; when the molten basalt flows met cold water, they solidified and shaped these rare polygonal formations due to thermal contraction effects.

Ganh Da Dia was enlisted as a National Heritage site in January 1998 by Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Interesting landmark with hexagonal rock formation from volcanic eruption that looks as if it's honeycomb on the inside of a beehive. They consist of around 35,000 columns of basalt rocks forming a broad base.

The rock here is basalt that was formed 200 million years ago, created by volcanic activity in the Van Hoa plateau. What is special is that there are tens of thousands of hexagonal, circular or square stone columns, one layer on top of the other, consecutively and closely like the hand of some god.

This tourist spot has been planned and reorganized. Visitors need to buy tickets for ~1usd. If there are no elderly people or people with difficulty walking, there is no need to buy a tram ticket because the walking distance is only about 50-70m.

It is famous location in Phu Yen. I recomemed you to visit this place. Opentime from 9am to 5pm. But after 5pm, you should'n buy the ticket. I also recomemed you visit this place after 5pm because when this time it not hot too much. After 5pm you can see sunset, the sun light enough for you take some picture but can not make you have sunburn.
Let's try to visit this place when you travel in Phu Yen ^^

Don't miss out this place. Pretty far from the city. My day with my bike is amazing because of the rain too. That's why not busy at all. Very very unique place. Won't find another place like this.

A must-go place if you visit Phu Yen. The rock formation is so unique it looks like it was man-made than natural. Beware that it’s always crowded here so time your visit right so it won’t take forever for a nice photo.
