Great service, good price, and extra lovely owner.
We went to this tour group to book a last-minute trip to Ha Long and some train tickets for further travel.
The owner, Tung, was welcoming and helpful, and he was not pushy at all, like other tour companies.
We booked our trip to Ha long and a night in Ninh Bin, then train tickets to Da nang, and everything went great!
Tung was available via whatsapp the entire time to answer questions we had, and the only time we had a delay (someone else's mistake) he promptly got in touch and sorted everything, so there was no stress at all.
All for a very fair price!
Would highly recommend using this agency, and would definitely use Tung's service again next time we're in Vietnam 🙂

We had a fantastic cruise at Halong Bay.
From the day we booked it in the office, we got the warmest welcome from Dung. We had a really good price and everything was well explained to us , in a very friendly way.
We had also a WhatsApp number to ask any questions at any time, which was super handy.
Dung, the lovely tour operator at the agency organized everything for us: pick up bus in the morning from our hotel, with free water. 2 days, 1 night on “Calypso” 4 star boat. It was exactly like the picture, and better than promised! We got upgraded and had a beautiful room with a balcony. All the staff was super professional and efficient during our stay.
We did some visits of cave, kayaking, swimming behind the boat, relaxed in a jacuzzi on top deck watching the sunset,…
The food was delicious! We had 8 courses meals for lunch and dinner.
And the views were of course stunning.
And at the end, we also had a shuttle back to the hotel.
We had the best time, and it was cheap and stress free :-)

If anyone is ever going to Vietnam I would only and only suggest them Hanoi Old Quarter Travel for all of their bookings.
I was in a lookout for HaLong bay cruise booking after landing in Hanoi and I came across them via google maps. Mr Tung patiently listened to all my needs and managed a very good cruise for me for the next day itself. It was my birthday so I wanted a very good and comfortable experience on the cruise and I was very happy and satisfied with the cruise that he gave me. They even surprised me with a cake and celebration at dinner. Then he also arranged a 2 day trip to Ninh Binh with transfers, stay and day tour. Finally arranged a private car to get back to the airport.
All this at a very very reasonable price. I can vouch that nobody in Hanoi will give you such cheap packages with such a widespread network in different cities across Vietnam.
He is very warm, welcoming and understands exactly what you want especially the needs of an Indian. He also recommended lots of places to eat as well as sight seeing, groceries, souvenir etc.
Hands down THE BEST!!

There are no words to express my gratitude for Mrs. Thuy Bui and Hanoi Old Quarter Travel! I am an anxious planner who had the great idea of taking 4 generations of our family ages 15 to 83 on an international adventure to Vietnam. I literally wrote Thuy almost every day for 7 months and she responded and planned the trip of a lifetime! She made sure our 15 year old had adventure and my grandma 83 was able to be there with us! She even surprised us with serval upgrades on our cruise and our resort time in Nihn Binh. On our 10 day trip there was not a moment where I had one bit of anxiety which is crazy for a person like me! Thuy literally changed our lives! Thank you thank you thank you! Originally just wanted a trip to Halong Bay but after we went in we ended up booking a 2 week trip - Hanoi to Sapa to Halong to Ninh Binh to Hue to Hoi An. The trip was incredible and we managed to do more in the 2 weeks had with less budget than we could have imagined. You can book all types of day trips and short trips but our 3 week trip was fantastic, didn't have to think about anything the whole time as everything was organised for us and the team were always on hand via WhatsApp if we had any questions. Would definitely use again if we came back as it really was a VIP service.

I booked from Australia through Ms Thuy Bui. Told her about my plans, and she came up with the best iternarary. Did a day trip to Halong Bay, nimh binh, and a 2 day/1night trip to Sapa. Ms Thuy kept us well informed about our trips from the time of start till the end of the day. She did not miss anything at all. From pick up, to meals to hotels. Nothing has ever been difficult for her. Highly recommend using their services.

This tour agency arranged a 3 day-2 night trip to Ninh Bih in December 2023. Everything was excellent. The agency suggested the most suitable hotel for us, transportation was great, all the tour guides that took us around at Ninh Bih were very professional. The overall experience was amazing. I honestly can't say enough good things about this company and, specifically, Mr Tung. I read the reviews and trusted my instincts, and I'm glad I did. He organized everything perfectly (taxis, gorgeous homestay, Bai Tu Long Bay tour, planes, etc). He didn't miss a thing. I was in Hanoi for a short time (3 days only) and Old Quarter Travel worked closely with me to come up with a plan that maximizes excitement! In such a short period of time, I visited SaPa, hiked the tallest mountain in Vietnam (Fansipan), hopped on a cruise around Halong bay, and joined a Jeep tour around Hanoi. The cruise itself was quite action packed (cave visit, swimming, kayaking, spring roll making, and a lot of good food/drinks). Old Quarter Travel was recommended to me by a friend who visited earlier, and I definitely extend this recommendation to future travelers.

During our recent stay in Hanoi, Hanoi Old Quarter Travel was recommended to us by another tourist in passing. It turned out to be an amazing experience. We met Thuy who went out of her way to help us as we planned our trip through Vietnam. She was extremely pleasant and absolutely professional. She responded to our every need at all hours of the day. We booked the Hia giang loop for 5 boys with Hanoi old quarter travel, and every part of the service was amazing. Truly amazing people who help wherever possible, and Shaq the owner has even helped us with the rest of our Vietnam trip with tips free of cost! I could not recommend this agency highly enough and they made every part of the 3 day trip unique, enjoyable and safe. If I ever come back to Vietnam this will be the first place I go to book anything!

I wish I had left my entire trip up to Thuy. I found Hanoi Old Quarter Travel when I landed in Hanoi and Thuy helped me with flights and transfers to Da Nang and the accommodation I had booked in Hoi An. She then arranged my flights/transfers back to Hanoi and a trip to Halong Bay (recommend 3 days/2 nights) plus gave me plenty of recommendations for good local food (especially vegetarian), massage spas and things to do. It really took the stress out of my Vietnam trip and I will definitely use Thuy to arrange more adventures when I come back. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Took Tung' s recommendation to join Cruise The Halong Catamara. It was a good recommendation as the cruise was very comfortable, food was superb, staff were very friendly and of course we get to see the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay. The sunset view was beautiful too. Thanks to Tung's recommendation as we really enjoyed ourselves. Tung was very friendly and helpful in arranging all our transport in hanoi to Ninh Binh and hotel transfer. Highly recommended his service. 👍

Had a wonderful time. Each day was carefully planned. Mr. Tung had provided us with excellent safety guidance. The drivers were punctual and the guides were excellent too.

It was a pleasure to organize our 2 tours with this tour agency. It was effortless and we enjoyed every single moment, the views and the activities were amazing. We booked a tour to cruise Ha Long bay where we also got to see the Surprising Cave and the Ti Top island before heading back to Hanoi. Lunch buffet was included w the cruise as well as tea time before heading back. Food was nothing special but at least we did not have to worry about that, and the tea party was a plus🙃
Our second tour was to Ninh Binh and if the first tour was great this trip was amazing! Our highlights were the boat trip to Tam Coc as well as the views from Hang Mua Viewpoint, be prepared to do some steps😂
We enjoyed both of our tour guides, Jack accompanied us in Ha Long, cheerful and energetic, not a lot of details provided but overall we enjoyed the explanations whereas Hung who accompanied us in Ninh Binh (apologies if not spelled correctly) was amaziiing. Loved how he united the group, encouraged us to ask questions and how he offered the explanation (everything has a reason🥰). The bus taking us to Ninh Binh was a bit more luxury compared to the first trip to Ha Long.
We would 💯book these tours again if we come back to beautiful Vietnam.

We went in to initially book a last minute cruise to Ha Long Bay and instead we got 5 days full of great activities, beautiful spots and nothing to think/worry about because every taxi, bus boat had been arranged for us.

If you are looking for support in any way you must come to Mr. Tung! He treated us like family, helped us find the best prices on everything and always answered the phone right away when we called. We got sick while we were here and he checked in on us and helped us rearrange our travel plans several times. He made our time here in Hanoi very memorable.
