Reasonable prices and the food is nice. The vegetarian fried rice is one of the best I personally tasted for a vegetarian dish despite I requested no garlic and onions. Based on food and ambience, I personally think this is one of the must try in Hanoi.

There is a price menu so the prices are transparent. They have free wifi and they accept credit cards for payment (extra 3% charge). They also do not charge service charge so you may wish to consider tipping.

Food was really nice especially the shrimp passion sauce and the Chicken with 5 taste! All the service staff were really friendly, spoke great English and gave good recommendations. The price is higher than normal day because Tet Holiday - All services are increased because of the Vietnamese Tet holiday, but it is completely appropriate when most restaurants are temporarily closed during this time.

A little gem operating out of a 100 year old building. Great local cuisine with a lovely smiling service. We had the Bun Cha, Morning Glory & Shrimp with spices. Super tasty!

Food was really nice especially the Special Aubergine and Shrimp with passion sauce! I recommend all you guys must try these food. All the service staff were really friendly, spoke great English and gave good recommendations. They teach us how to eat the various dishes in true Vietnamese style

A nice quaint homey restaurant operating out of a 1916 rowhouse. Many original items are kept, large collection of antiques & curios. It's a great place to dine, not to mention the food is good. Price not too high. Some food items can do better, however. This is a Must-try restaurant.

Tasty vegetarian food I had, price is reasonable, friendly staff. The Egg coffee is good over here and it cost only 40k vnd. The noodles soup also very nice.

Ate there twice! My favorite are pho and lemongrass chili pork! Sweet and sour chicken was delicious as well and 5 flavors chicken was okay. Staff is very nice :)

Great Restaurant! Very friendly service and they were fast and aware of everything! Food came very quick and was very delicious. Also very pretty and quiet place. Highly recommend.

As others mentioned (or complained?), the place is full of tourists but the food is really good. Some dishes come with rice (you can always ask for more). The papaya salad was very tasty.

This is one of our most favorite restaurants in Hanoi. I can't say that the food is 100% authentic as I am not a local, but the food tasted fantastic. It's a bit on the expensive side compared to other options but you pay for the tourist area tax and the food covers the added cost with a big portion. We had dinner on two different nights and both times we left with a happy tummy.
All aubergine items are worth trying once, beef and chicken items were good as well, and the rice that comes with each item is refillable.
They do take card payment, with added 3% which is quite common in Vietnam., You can park your bike in front of the store on the walking path.

Good soup noodle around town. Serve good draft beer which is hard to come by in restaurants around Hà noi.

Friendly, air conditioning, very reasonable prices and a lively atmosphere. Eat here! It’s terrific!
Ps. Vegetarian and non vegetarians should really try the morning glory vegetables and the tomatoes tofu 😜

Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Food and drink are delicious. The vibes and restaurant design are great. Highly recommend if you look for authentic Vietnamese food in Hanoi Old Quarter.

So delicious and a big portion. The waiters are so nice and you don't need to wait long.

Came here with my parents and we all loved it. Super high quality food, massive portions and great service. My dad said it was the best food he’s had in Vietnam and we’ve been travelling round the country for two weeks now.
Also fantastic value! Four gin and tonics and more food than we could finish for about 1.2m VND

Love this place. I dont like vege so much, but Gongsimchae is so tasty.
