Con Son Island

We weren’t exactly sure what to expect from Con Dao but we were eager to find out .
What we discovered is that we felt that we had the place to ourselves .
Vast stretches of beautiful empty white sand beaches were ours to explore .
No shortage of spectacular scenery on our relaxing scooter ride around the Island .
An abundance of tasty dining options in town as well .
We would definitely go back .

Amazing beaches, so nice. The seafood in the restaurant isn't cheap. I recommend you buy seafood in early morning at the port and bring to hotel, they will help to cook. Hire a bike and go around the island. Everywhere the beaches are so beautiful. Do not bring plastic waste to the island.

Anyone who enjoys beautiful nature, friendly people and a nice ride, hike or walk should come here. Some of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in SEA.

Con Dao or Con Son island _ I would recommend it as a place for trekking , diving , hiking , blending in the beauty of rural and history . It would be better to stay in a resort if you travel with kids otherwise you will struggle finding food or entertainments .Cause there are no bars , no pubs, no western restaurants .I was so impressed with how people here take good care of the island .Everywhere is so clean , there are more trash bins than bikes on the streets 😊. Take the scooter and drive along the island , you will be surly overwhelmed by its breathtaking coast . Don't forget to check out Bai Dam Trau ( right next to the airport) , Bai Ong Dung ( inside National park ) ...

I love this place, not as stuffy as in land. Everything on the island makes me feel peaceful. The people are very friendly and kind.

I love this place. True paradise, great atmosphere, lot of restaurants and hotel. They do a lot of daily trips (snorkeling, tortoises). Hanging around on beaches or at the national park is a good option as well. There is also a well-organized museum and a temple.

I had the feeling the this island is mostly visited by locals.
Don't expect to pay by credit card anywhere on the island... And most people speak a basic English

Beautiful villas with great pools for each villa, right outside your bedroom. And a lovely sandy beach on the other side of the pool. The town of Con Diao is colorful and worth a visit. Whether you want to subject yourself to the Tiger Cages is up to you.
