A beautiful beach with the airport right around the corner so can see the planes landing, which is pretty impressive! Watch out for your stuff - some monkeys are very keen on stealing your food and drinks :)

Nice beach. Not the cleanest ever but definitely cleaner than other on Con Dao. Parking at the entrance for 4k, the entrance is 3k. Not crowed at all. Nice place for sunset. Funny to see the planes land and take-off !

Best beach on the island. Quite remote with monkeys stealing your coconuts. They sell some drinks, have chairs, hammocks and showers. Super nice

A nice large beach that bends around the bay near the airport. If you stay there long enough you can see aircraft approach the runway for a landing. I think the Bamboo Air jet arrives near 1500 hours. Keep your phone camera facing west toward the water & aircraft suddenly appear in site.

There's a few cafe's along the beach that offer cold drinks...like Tiger beer and that is great. The bay is quite sheltered and the water is usually very clear & calm for swimming safely.

To get there you will travel north out of Con Dao town along a scenic and mountainous well paved road. Just make sure you follow to the right at the fork in the road and then turn left on the next wide road to the beach...if not you will be at the airport and have to turn back. Well worth the ride & relax at the beach all day.

The sunsets are spectacular as the beach faces west.

A very nice beach, you have to pay parking fees 4000 VND and the entrance fee is 3000 VND, it's really not much and I'm happy to pay for a clean beach, you should do the same at the other beach Bai Bien Dong.

It's nice beach where you an spend whole day. You can see the airplane is landing. It's located near airport. Anyway the water is very clear here.

Dam trau beach was the best beach we have been to in Vietnam, it was incredibly quiet and private. The journey leading up to the beach is scenic wonderful scooter ride. The 3 restaurants in the beach are very mediocre so I would recommend to avoid eating there. Getting drinks is fine. The beach is located next to airport so throughout the day there will be planes landing which is an attraction on its own.

Best beach on the island, with so few people on the beach, quiet and clean. Con Dao airport is located nearby the beach so you can catch the moment airplanes landing from here.

Good beach. Especially the landing turboprop planes are fun to watch. As they are few, they are no disturbance.
The water is clear and the sand fine and white. Perfect beach. Prices in the local restaurant are ok for drinks. Did not check the food, though.

The most magical place on the already magical Con Dao.

Planning to go for just a swim, we ended up spending the whole day here. You will find here anything you need: a long stretch of beautiful beach, clear blue water, a magnificent bay to look at and the amusement of a plane just going over the beach before it lands.

Also, there are some eat-drink facilities where you can also find some shade. Definitely go here!

It is a beautiful beach to sunbathe and to go snorkeling , you will see a lot of beautiful sea life and corals.

One of the cleanest beach we saw in whole south Vietnam. Catch a picture of plane landing just few meter above you is incredible experience!

Nice beach with brown sand,the water is clear and warm..if you climb over the rock in the left side you will find out another beautiful beach call hidden beach.
