The Secret Resort

Had a great experience at The Secret. Despite the island travel being closed due to storms in a monsoon month, we still had a great time. The happy hour cocktails were excellent and made with a lot of care, the coconut ice cream special was excellent, the hotel and room were very clean and most importantly the bed was comfortable, especially since I am 1.93 meters tall and 112 kg. The hotel staff, specifically Ly and Anh and the bartenders we had were extremely helpful with taxis (besides the free airport shuttle) and recommendations on places to visit in town just blocks away and always smiling. The town is more like a family everyone is extremely nice but it's also nice and quiet. Hotel is right on the beach as well with a great pool. Only regret is we didn't have time to visit the spa at the hotel.

Our family planed to go Con dao island, Vietnam without any information to spend time during holiday season.

We just set just for accommodation and flight ticket, so we worried about to find somewhere to go during stay.

But that worries was unnecessary, Hotel staffs served fully care before we arrive the airport.

Most of the staff had great skill for communication with foreign language.

When We arrived hotel, we realize we can use good restaurant, bar, coffee shop, also wonderful swimming pool inside hotel.

Hotel staff had every information about local area, so we don`t have to use google to figure out what we do in this island.

Our family had great time during stay, and was very impressed and moved every service we had from hotel.

Best concierge service we ever had.

This hotel is not traditional luxury hotel, but very modernistic hotel with remarkable contemporary design.

Housekeeping, Catering, transportation service also perfect.

I guarantee you will make same review as like me, if you stay here.

Our stay was amazing. We visited Con Dao during the off-season so the hotel did not have many guests. The staff was very attentive and super nice! Special thanks to Ly, Anh, Nam, Helen and all the others for making our stay unforgettable! The hotel's location is close to a lot of small restaurants and a beach. There is convenient scooter rental right in front of the hotel (150’000 VND/day). The pool is quite big and good for a quick swim or to watch the sunset with a cocktail. The gym is small but does the job. Breakfast was amazing and we were even able to make some special wishes.

We tried just The Spice Kitchen , we had pan fried mackerel, deep fried spring rolls, grilled squid , linguine carbonara, margarita pizza.
Everything was super delicios, and we found out that in the meniu in not mention the fact that they add onion in carbonara. Except this detail, everything was tasty . People in here are friendly, and serviceable.

The hotel is wonderful! The service is at the highest level. Staff is very friendly, always ready to help. Very tasty food in the restaurant. The rooms are very clean, cleaned 2 times a day. The only negative is that there is no good beach nearby. We took motorcycles and drove around the island, visited beautiful beaches.

Amazing experience. We stayed in the Suite which has perfect ocean view, giant living room and bedroom. Everything exceeded our expectations and wishes. The front desk staff was super helpful and dedicated. We were greeted with smiles at any time. Will definitely stay here again.

This was my first visit to Con Dao and I stayed at The Secret for 2 nights. I had a fantastic time. Even though it was a short stay I had plenty of time to interact with the amazing staff at The Secret.
A special thank you goes to the genuine & beautiful Ms My Lai at the front desk. Ms My Lai went out of her way to make sure I had the best experience on Con Dao island. She also suggested & organized a trip for me to go and watch the sunset and it was the most beautiful sunset I have seen. She even made sure to stay in contact with my driver to make sure I was safe.
The hotel is very clean and in a very convenient location, close to the beach and walking distance to town.

Very nice stay here. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Breakfast very good. The on site restaurants were both very good - especially The Secret Restaurant.

The Secret Hotel is truly exceptional, offering every luxury one could desire. Service is impeccable, and the staff, especially Anh, went the extra mile to cater to our needs. We had a spacious corner suite with a huge terrace and stunning view over the bay. Huge swimming pool, having the perfect temperature, was perfect for our kids. The hotel is situated at the the seafront, and the centre of the town is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel where you can enjoy a huge selection of great restaurants, where i must state that the hotel restaurant is also excellent. The Secret being not the cheapest nor the most expensive hotel, they definitely succeed in providing excellent value for money.

It was amazing, nothin to say. Clean room, super nice staff, high level spa and strongly recommending the Vietnamese cooking class 😋

This 4.5 resort located in nearly the beach Bãi lò vô(300m from resort and Con Dao market 500m from resort). You can swing in the beach and pool easily. Many local food and restaurant are nearby the resort, so you can search on google and go there to enjoy. Normally, resort is far from city center, except this one. There are a long asphalt road along the beach in front of resort.
For those whose love jogging this is perfect place to practice runming, I recommend who want to looking for afforable resort, ideally location, and great running route.

Great hotel and comfortable rooms. As usual most of the staff hardly speaks English but they are very friendly and helpful (especially after we complained about the a la carte breakfast, which they took very seriously).

We are so happy to stay at this exc Hotel, all employees we met here were so polite and helpful in great experienced.
Anh Hoàng, the manager here, great, so polited, would be a great asset to this hotel 🤩🤩love to see him again next time comes around.

Best place to stay in con dao in my opinion, beach front and close to the centre. We thorough enjoyed our stay and especially ms Huyen’s hospitality.

I really enjoyed The Secret Hotel in Con Dao. The hotel offers many great amenities. The services are outstanding. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and customer oriented. The buffet is great with many yummy dishes. The pool is large and clean. The room is very nice and cozy. We met Miss Lucy this morning and she’s great and very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful view, I like the room, very simple! , the food here is a little expensive soo I didn’t eat here ( I ate my own food ) the service is actually good, I’ll give my trip here a 9.5/10

We stayed for 5 nights at The Secret Con Dao and had a wonderful time. The rooms are very modern and clean. We really liked the breakfast, as you get vietnames, asian and european style food. Even the bakery was first class. The poolarea is nice and chilled. The staff is friendly and if they can talk english, they have a nice chat with you. In front of the hotel you can rent a scooter. The complimentary airport shuttle was also nice.
Not far from the Hotel are several restaurants and shops.
We will come back to Con Dao and to this hotel. Thank you to the nice GM which also had a nice chat with us and if we liked our stay.
