Tam's Homestay

I can’t recommend this place enough! We booked for two nights and extended our stay because we liked it so much. Tam and his family are so lovely - they really go out of their way to help you. The room is big and has everything you need - including a very comfortable bed! Tam helped us to book bus tickets and rent a motorbike and even let us keep the room beyond checkout time as our bus didn’t leave til 9pm. Great location too.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had an amazing time, gret room with a comfortable bed, a good free breakfast and coffee every morning and Tam the host was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend

We had a really pleasant stay with Tam. He and his family are super nice and the rooms are quite good. Also the location is perfect and Tam offers motorbikes to rent and tours for a good price. I had a motorbike accident and Tam came to the hospital to help me. The bike was not damaged but he was more concerned with me as a person. Tam is a good guy and I really appreciated his help! Definetively worth recommending.

Excellent stay, super comfortable, spacious rooms and very clean. Brilliant banana pancakes for breakfast. Tam and his family are excellent hosts, kind And welcoming. His dogs are also incredibly cute

Tam's a super nice guy who can organise everything for you, the room has a little table and chair, aircon and a lovely view to the garden & mountain. You can use the bicycles to go around town and scooter rental can be organized through Tam. I had a great time here!

I highly recommend to stay here as this is a real homestay where you can find a nice and warm family atmosphere.
It's well located, near the centre. You can also use bicycles for free. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable, the banana pancakes are delicious 👌

The owner and his family were really nice and welcoming! I arrived in the middle of the night and they woke up and let me sleep in the lobby until a bedroom was available. The room is super comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious! Definitely recommended :)

I STRONGLY recommend staying at Tam’s homestay. The house is clean and comfortable. Tam helps with everything - tickets, motorbikes, bus, etc. We felt like we were a part of the family, Tam and his wife are great hosts.

I am writing this review more as a heartfelt thank you to Tam and his family for their exceptional hospitality during our stay at their stunning home. Our journey began with Tam personally picking us up from the station, with myself on his motorbike and my partner on his wife's. We were promptly checked into our room, even before the official check-in time, and were welcomed with a refreshing bottle of water. The room itself was a bungalow with a lovely bed. Inside it also had a beautiful wooden structures and a large powerful shower too. You could not hear neighbours and the other guests at the hostel are all wonderful people they are not backpacking party types which was brilliant.

From the moment we arrived, Tam's warmth and kindness put us completely at ease. Our room was not only wonderful but also immaculately maintained. Whenever we were ready to venture out, Tam was there, offering suggestions for excursions and guiding us through all the options. Based on his recommendation, we opted for the adventure tour the next day, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip.

Tam also went above and beyond by suggesting excellent restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and must-visit caves in the area, all of which added immensely to our experience. He even helped us arrange a motorbike rental to explore the local surroundings at our own pace.

One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served every morning which was included in the price of the homestay. My partner indulged in the delightful banana pancakes on three occasions and relished the vegetable noodles on another. As for me, I enjoyed a variety of dishes including pho, noodles, and omelettes, each prepared to perfection. There was also a different piece of wonderful fruit everyday with Mango, Dragon fruit and Papaya all given on different days. The breakfast spread, accompanied by a lovely cup of coffee, was the ideal start to our days filled with exploration.

Tam's attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring we always had fresh towels and anything else we needed. His constant smile and genuine care made us feel truly valued as guests. The spacious and modern bungalow we stayed in, coupled with the picturesque surroundings of Phong Nha, made our experience unforgettable.

However, it was Tam's personal touch that truly set this homestay apart. I wholeheartedly recommend Tam's Homestay to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. It's not just the place itself but also Tam's hospitality that makes it a standout choice. This is the only place I am certain I would return to, thanks to the wonderful memories created by Tam and his family. Oh and don't forget Lucky the wonderful family dog who was just adorable..

Nuestra habitación era una casita separada de la casa principal, muy limpia y muy nueva. La cama era muy cómoda.
Tam y su familia son adorables y nos han tratado muy bien. Incluso nos han invitado a cenar con ellos.
Tam te ayudará reservando actividades, buses, bicicletas, motos...
Para desayunar nos han hecho los mejores pancakes de banana de Vietnam 😋

Uno de los mejores home stays de Vietnam. Tam es muy amable y se preocupa para que estés agusto. La habitación es la mejor que he estado sin duda, muy limpia, el colchón y almohada muy cómodos, el baño perfecto.. ninguna queja.

Tam ofrece tours, recomiendo muchísimo hacer el de Phong Nha Cave en kayak, una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida. El guía es también muy bueno.

Los pancakes de banana para desayunar son espectaculares!

Ha sido un verdadero placer poder alojarnos en Tam's Homestay y haber compartido dos días estupendos con toda su familia. Son encantadores!! ❤
Las habitaciones son espaciosas y limpias. Buena ducha, agua caliente y con presión.
Siempre hay disponible agua natural para beber.
Los desayunos son buenísimos. El pankake de plátano es delicioso!

Tam und seine Familie sind super herzliche Menschen. Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ich habe so eine Gastfreundschaft noch in keinem Homestay in Vietnam zuvor erlebt. Uneingeschränkter Geheimtipp!

Optimal für Touren in die Höhlen. Sehr günstig, gutes Frühstück.
Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber.
Tam und Familie sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.
10 Minuten zu Fuß in die Ortsmitte oder 3 Minuten mit dem kostenlosen Fahrrad.
Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen!

Super Homestay ! Les propriétaires sont super accueillants, ils m’ont même préparé à manger le soir et c’était très bon. Ils parlent bien anglais et les chambres sont supers, spacieuses et propres !
Vous pouvez louer des motos, réserver bus et expéditions, et ils prêtent gratuitement des vélos.
Je recommande vivement pour votre passage à Phong Nha !

Una experiencia maravillosa. Habitación grande, fresca y limpia. El hombre que lleva el negocio es una de las mejores personas que hemos encontrado por Vietnam. Amable, respetuoso, siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. Nos hizo el check in a las 3 de la mañana sin previo aviso, con una sonrisa, y nos dejo ducharnos y estar con las maletas en la habitación hasta tarde. No nos quiso sacar dinero de más (muchos sitios te cobran por todo) al revés! Un ángel. Repetiríamos sin duda.

Không gian và view tuy không hơn so với vài nơi tại Phong Nha nhưng bù lại phòng rộng, giá rẻ . Anh chủ nhiệt tình vui thân thiện , lại được ăn sáng free
