Great stay, we were here before our cavjng expedition and it was wonderful. It might be a little far from town if you plan on staying multiple nights but it was a perfect place to relax before heading into the jungle to go caving. Prices at the restaurant are very high compared to other places in town or in Vietnam

Peaceful place surrounded by nature. Rooms are spacious and lots of options and designs. Spa on sight and I recommend the massage but not the steam service. Also, kayaking available a short walk down the road from the hotel.

Awesome location...but vegetarian options are restricted. Service is very ordinary

Had a great stay at Chay Lap. Our family stayed here prior to an arranged caving jungle trek with Oxalis. The breakfast and regular menu items are good. Prices are for tourists but reasonable. We expected mostly Western tourists but were surprised by the number of locals staying here. The management and staff are excellent and very helpful. Parent company is Oxalis so this is a great place to stay if you are going on a trekking adventure with them. (Also highly recommended)

What an amazing spot to stay, relax, and enjoy the quiet and peaceful jungles of Vietnam. This is a full service getaway. I stayed in one of the huts, eh I have has tons of space. It was cool and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious. And, it’s just an adorable cabin. This place is nestled back into the trees. It opens up as you drive down the private road to the reception area, flanked by the pool, restaurant and bar. Food was really good. There is also a spa with a local herb sauna and massage therapists. And, yes. I utilized both. It was relaxing. The staff members were welcoming. I spent one night and hiked the Hang Tien Cave Cave the next day. It was a remarkable experience. I could say more. It, I’ll let the photos say the rest.

Our first experience at Chay Lap Homestay as part of our Tu Lan Cave adventure. It is a beautiful remote place, but very well kept with consciousness about environmentally friendly products and service. The staff was hard working, friendly and attentive. Room was nice with a private garden and aircon. We found a little green frog in our bathroom which was a nice little surprise. The food was home cooked style and it is highly recommended for a group to order the food in advance for your set dinner time so by the time you're tired and hungry, the food was ready and no need to wait. Wifi is only available at the reception or restaurant. Overall, this is the perfect place for one to go back to connect with nature, rewind and relax.

We stayed here before and after our caving expedition with Oxalis. This place is a slice of heaven and the staff are lovely. We wish we had more time here!

Fabulous location and incredible staff. The bed was super comfy, I found the room to be really clean and spacious. I used the laundry service and was very pleased. The restaurant served some lovely dishes and it was a great place to relax after all out trekking. Mai in reception was especially helpful when I needed to book a train! Would love to visit again.

This was my absolute favorite stay on our two week motorcycle trip through Vietnam. The scenery was beautiful! The rooms were luxurious! Everything was so very clean and all of our needs were taken care of. We wish we could have stayed here a few more nights!

We stayed at Chay Lap Farmstay for only 3 days but enjoyed every moment there. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. It was clean in the rooms as well as the entire vicinity. The food was good with a good variety to accommodate most tastes. We loved loved the adventure tours we booked through them. We rented the motorbike and had the most amazing ride through the beautiful scenic area. Through our tour of Asia for 3 weeks we enjoyed our visit to Chay Lap and the surrounding area the most. We hope to go back again one day!

Had stayed here for two days. The ambience and view from the rooms were extremely beautiful. The staff were helpful and polite. The food was okay. But little bit pricey. Except for food lived every single thing about this place. They even have kayaking and cycling complimentary. Wish we could stay longer.

This is not a 5 star resort but it is clean, the AC works well, comfortable and very peaceful. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough to make your stay a pleasure. It is a world away from the noise and bustle of the cities and a very welcome place to relax by the pool drinking cocktails lookind at the beautiful mountains. There are bikes, the roads are quiet and kayaking on a very calm river so anyone can do it. The caves in the Phong Nha National Park are a must and so close. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Just like everything Oxalis Adventure Tours offer, the Chay Lap Farmstay is an amazing resort experience that will make you feel like home. Considering that the place is situated in a local village, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the choices in the food and drink menu. Many cocktails to try, local specialities and eternal classics. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the air conditioner inside can be turned to heating mode. Oh, and make sure to try the spa and herbal sauna, it’s well worth it!

Great location if you want to explore the river and caves in the vicinity of phong nha.

Stayed here after an Oxalis caving tour, the food is good, staff are very friendly, the beds are very comfortable, beautiful scenery and the pool and sauna are nice options. Wifi was the strongest I've experienced in all of Vietnam, the offered laundry service kayaking as well, I would recommend staying, great for kids here too.

Everything is just nice. It's actually less farm than I thought, but with all the garden, trees, plants, nature are just really nice and really good getaway from busy cities. The room I got is shared in the same building of another 3, but it's still really private. Staffs are so friendly, and they can communicate in English pretty well. There's water sport center, which is 300m from farmstay and they provide bike to get there, it was fun for me to try standup paddling for the very first time.

Recommending this place over and over again wouldn’t be enough. It’s surrounded by nature (literally: sceneries and bugs)- staffs are very friendly and accommodating!
Restaurant food is also superb!
