HOTEL KIM DAT

If you come to BacHa for the Sunday market Hotel Kim Dat is right on the bullseye. Step out the door and you are right in it. Wander around, bargain for some items and when you tire you can return to your room for a break... then go back out again...
The family that owns this hotel are friendly and will help you any way they can. The son, Dat, speaks English and can do basic translation. He wants to help his Mom with the hotel business.
Many places were shut as COVID was beginning to show in Vietnam. Others were turning "foreigners" away. But I felt nothing but positive feelings from the family that owns Hotel Kim Dat.
If you are looking to be pampered this probably isn't it. But if you want basic lodging at a rock bottom rate Hotel Kim Dat fills the bill. We spent 4 nights here. The water is hot, the room clean and the matress firm. Quiet at night for a restful sleep and wake up to the rooster crow.
