Big Brocade market , big buffalo market and beautiful night market. And you can ride motobike to discover around there. There are many beautiful places with flowers garden and beautiful scenes

Bac Ha is a beautiful little town. If you have time and opportunity to drive around with motorbike, the area has lovely rice terraces and mountain view. The people are much nicer then in Sapa! This place is still not spoiled by tourism. And the prices are less.
On the market you must negotiate the price. If you walk away you can arrange even third prise. ;)

Local market, can try local food with " thắng cố, xôi ngũ sắc, rượu ngô " , special market just only Sunday, the palce can go when you stay Sapa, can go by tourism for 1 day or you can go by bus 3 hours and stay 1 night on Saturday with night market

For sure it is a must to see while being in the North of Vietnam. It is only opened on Sundays in the morning. Be aware that you will see a lot of animals being killed and sold.

I did the four day hike around Bac Ha with Thao and it’s been amazing! I actually think it was my highlight of my Vietnam trip!
Bac Ha is the perfect alternative if you do not want to go to Sa Pa since Bac Ha less crowed and touristy.
We hiked for about 5-6 hours everyday and stayed at lovely home stays. Thao is a great guide. He takes care of his guests very well and I enjoyed that there was room for individual preferences and he is open to plan the trip according to your personal wishes and needs.
I can highly recommend going on a multiple day hike since it allows you to explore the beautiful nature of Vietnam and it’s a perfect rewind from big city life! Thank you so much for the great time!

Very colourful market mainly for the local. People staying near by villages and farmers come here on Sunday's to sell their products and buy their requirements. Also has a section for the tourist and night market at the same venue.

Life of hill tribe people. Almost every ethnic groups you can name will be here for the Sunday market. Exploding & Colorful. Everyone trades their needs. No one mind your photographic actions (unless you're -too much- offensive).

Don't come here on another six days. It's almost like ghost town.

Also not recommend to people who expects air-con shopping mall or supermarket. This is market for people, by people.

A great place to people watch. So much variety in food, crafts, clothing... Do yourself a favor and come to Bac Ha a night early so that you can get to the market early, before the swarms of tourists get there.
