Very clean, neat and nice railways station.
The railway was on time, and the staff was very nice.
Food and drinks stalls inside the station for refreshments.

Trainjourney from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi is beautiful. Dong Hoi is the stop to visit the Paradise Cave in Phong Nha.

Decent size waiting area. Plenty of English updates on trains and progress. Tickets are checked and you're only allowed on to the station when it's announced that your train is soon approaching.

As far as railway stations go, it was safe and clean and well lit. Easy to find info about where to go. Go early to sit back and enjoy the ambiance.
