Tree Hugger Café & Crafts

Very nice und sweet coffee shop. The staff was very lovely and courteous.
I wanted to buy some of the souvenirs, but they were actually sold out. The staff organized some more and made it possible for me to bring these nice memories home.
We were here two times.

We came for breakfast / brunch today and are heading back later for dinner. Our food was amazing and such great friendly service. The coffees are large and hot - perfect.
Upstairs we had a look around, they sell a selection of souvenirs and hand made crafts.
Love everything about this place

This is the most boring town we visited in Vietnam, but it is because the places like this that the area is lovely and attracting young, tourists and adventurers...
This place is a true gem for foodies.

Tucked away behind a few tropical trees is this cosy, rustic little cafe.

Staff are good , good comes quick and fresh! I had a tuna mayo sandwhich , pancakes and some other foods from here. All well cooked too.

Inside the cafe you will find pictures and orniments from Vietnames beautifull culture. With the low lighting and the wooden cladding its a place of it's own.

We went for breakfast and we loved it so much that we came back same day for dinner. I love the tree atmosphere and everything is made so lovely. They also have a lot of handmade awesome souvenirs.

I would love to give it 6 stars in every category - this place is amazing - from the concept of the menu card to how every single dish is presented and tastes! They have a great sense of sustainability - the straw is made of glass instead of plastic! Numerous vegan dishes - such friendly staff - and the food OMG it's so fresh and simply the best.

The most original cafe I visited in Vietnam! The food was delicious and the portions big, the staff extremely nice and the ambient calm and serene. Make sure to read (and not just look) at the menu, a lot of intetesting information about Vietnam are hidden there.

This is an awesome cafe on the riverfront in Dong Hoi. The atmosphere is amazing, and the massive amount of plants outside really add to the calm, natural, relaxing vibe. The smoothie bowls, coffee, and eggs are all really tasty and well-crafted. I recommend the fried eggs breakfast and the red smoothie bowl. The prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend checking this cafe out while you’re in Dong Hoi.

If you are in Dong Hoi and you are not eating here then please explain to me why not. This place is absolutely amazing. From the atmosphere to the food and the staff, you can even buy local crafts. And look at the food! For amazing prices. And yes, you can and should have a burger in Vietnam, at least here

My tour guide recommended this place and WOW - it was really lovely! The craft store upstairs is amazing, I got a little coffee mug as a souvenir. The pancakes were absolutely delicious and I also got a little cup of tea for free. Loved the atmosphere.

Lovely cafe with great historical information about some of the various ethnicities of Vietnam. Since I am from MN I know a little about the Hmong people, but didn’t know they were recognized by the Vietnamese people.

Good choice of drinks, nice but limited seating upstairs, and good historical information.

Great place! Definitely check out the restroom, where they reutilize typical Vietnamese tools as furniture and have signs up explaining their origin - fascinating!
The cappuccino I would not order again, their black filter coffee is very solid however!
Also the meals are of bigger size than usual in Vietnam, so two 1.9m European guys just shared 3 dishes and it worked (median is 4).

simply the best in dong hoi ❤ our favorite café, with food that tastes like home and calm ambience, well decorated, really great service! We went several times, even had lunch and dinner in the same day there, because we couldn’t get over it.

Absolutely LOVE this little cafe, the coconut coffee is the best I’ve had in Vietnam. The cafe is full of lovely plants and has a fab little gift shop upstairs

A beautifully curated cafe with a great & well executed concept. The atmosphere was relaxing, the food was DELICIOUS and I wish I had more room in my bag to take home some of the bigger craft pieces. Highly recommended and we will be returning for breakfast in the morning before we leave!

An amazing sustainable place - with super attentive service who speak good English and tasty food (not only vegetarian). They served us herbal tee and fruit on the house ❤ The menu is rich, full of tipps and useful information about Vietnam, so is the rest of the cafe - very well thought through design. In the first floor there is a traditional handicrafts shop. The best experience in Vietnam so far!
