Sophie Homy Cafe & Food

We were warmly welcomed at Sophie Homy Café.

She speaks really good English, is friendly and customer oriented supporting all the wishes and requests. Helping travellers with the booking of accommodation, tour planning and more..

We could leave our luggage there for a short supermarket walk, she organised our trip to Hue as we were a little lost!

The standard is really high. You can order take away food as well, kitchen is really clean!

We are absolutely thankful running into this gorgeous person in Dong Hoi!

Best-tasting tofu with tomato sauce I've had in Vietnam! I had several other things in the morning and afternoon waiting to take a train and everything was tasty and very good prices. I paid a small fee to leave my luggage while I walked around town for a few hours. Credit card accepted.

It’s a good place to have breakfast after a long trip by train I took. I liked banana pancake and mango juice. Good atmosphere. The owner always was willing to help us. She offered us itinerary but we decided to go by ourselves, although if you come in a big group you should consider it. We took the luggage storage service, good service.

The venue is very close to the Railway Station and they stored our backpacks while we were out on tour to the caves. The lady is very friendly, smiley and she speaks very good English! When we came back from the tour we waited there for the train e had some snacks: pancakes and yogurt bowl are very yummy, perfect for the after-tours!! The place is highly recommended!

This is a fantastic place to get breakfast after an overnight train. The owner also arranged a scooter rental for me for the day to drive to the National Park. The owner was very kind and allowed me to securely store my backpack here. After coming back I also had dinner here. Overall excellent place with fair prices for food and scooter rental. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

She managed the cave tour for us which was wonderful. And also the bus to the next city.

A fantastic find….great place for food & drink. The owner Ha is super friendly, very knowledgeable of central Vietnam and was extremely helpful with our travels. Listed in Lonely Planet and and I would highly recommend a visit!

The owner of this place is truly amazing! We not only had a wonderful breakfast and dinner here but she also helped us with booking our trip to the nearby caves.

We came here post bus transfer and are so glad we found this lovely spot! The owner was very friendly, spoke English and our food came promptly! Good value for money - fruit, muesli and a chocolate drink for less than 100,000d.

Our group arrived off our sleeper train at 5.30am so we were so knackered but we were definitely uplifted by this breakfast! The beef banh mi was delicious and so were the smoothies and the lime iced tea. The service was so great, even at that time in the morning.

We were picked up from the train station by this wonderful friendly face. We had breakfast at her restaurant while waiting for our tour bus. The food, atmosphere and her friendship was enough to bring us back on our return trip to do the same. You must stop here and meet this fabulous lady. I feel we have a friend in her. Food was delicious!

We were in rush for train, but also hungry 😅😂. So we looked for something fast to go, and ended up here. Owner is very kind and super fast if it’s needed (speak English). Banh mi was also excellent. Thank you 🙏🏻

Great place and atmosphere. The hospitality by Sophie will take you by storm.
Good food and many different services are also available like Tour information and booking, motorbike rental, transportation booking, money exchange, luggage Storage along with the Dine in and Take away from the restaurant.
The location is perfect for train travel as it is right in front of the train.

The owner of this place is a mother of two beautiful kids, Sophie and Leo, and she's also an amazing host. She was very warm and treated us with utmost respect and kindness. Hats off to her for feeding six hungry people after an overnight train. We were hungry and tired, and we desperately needed a shower. She let us use her personal bathroom to take a shower. While we freshened up, she made us some delicious sandwiches, and we ordered coffee and French toast, all of which were really yummy. Sophie's mum speaks great English, so she was also able to guide us and give us instructions regarding our stay in Vietnam. She provides other services, too, like money exchange and luggage storage, both of which were very useful for us. The best thing is that this cafe is right outside the railway station, so you can chill or grab a bite here if you're waiting to take the next train from here. Recommend!

Vietnamese people are usually very nice. But Sophie plays a different league. She was very, very nice, never taking a break from helping and serving.
The food was very good and the cleanness of the site are worth being mentioned.
We loved and recommended, either for a drink, a meal, leave your baggage, a ticket or anything else.

Thank Sophie for everything. Firstly we find this place for eat and it was the most delicious place in this city. Also we booked through the Sophie the trip to cave and it was amazing trip with wonderful English speaking guide.

Dined in at Sophie Homy Cafe & Food with my family the other day and the food is nothing short of incredible. The fried rice was delicious, the pulled chicken burgers were one of the best I’ve had in Vietnam, and the the cheeseburger was the standout. (cheesy goodness in every bite) Overall, fantastic food that left me satisfied and leaving wanting more.

Amazing food and family. I felt right at home. She speaks Chinese, English, and Vietnamese and can offer lots of insight in the area as well as money exchange, luggage storage, tour bookings and info, motorbike rental, and more. Mom works hard and her kids are wonderful!
