Absolutely bizarre place that is nothing like previous reviews. The main area had no stalls or walkways like other photos suggest, we were the only people there. Road to get there was pretty bumpy, entry was through a construction site and cost 60kvd. It seems like the previous tourism has disappeared, no signs of stalls or locals showing you to signs.

However, it was incredibly beautiful, the water was clean and the springs acted like a little water slide. Definitely worth a visit, we went at 3:30pm on a Saturday, maybe it is not always touristy.

Came here 7 years ago and again two days ago after the hai van pass. Pleased to report it’s as stunning as ever and exactly as I remember it. We got recommended a couple other places e.g. Dream Springs but really didn’t like what we saw from recent review photos regarding the shacks and excess tourist effect making it feel ugly.

This place is perfect. My wife and I arrived late on Thursday, around 5pm and were the only ones there. Yes as you arrive you need to pay the security 60k vnd per person but just pay it and enjoy yourself.

The road to the falls feels a little suspicious and is a bit of rough ride but it’s well worth the ride. We were glad to have the security guy accompany us after a short while to reassure us.

The mass tourism effect at these sorts of places appears to move in waves so it felt like we timed this one well, and although we had some safety concerns being alone and suspicious at first (perhaps about getting robbed or worse) we needn’t have worried - although we’d still caution solo travellers, particularly ladies to think twice as it was very quiet, deserted almost.

5 backpackers travelling from da nang to hue, stopped off on the way! would 100% recommend, keep following the path and you will come across it!

What an experience. It all starts by buying entrance tickets to the park and as soon as you park the bike it gets pretty weird. Ladies come to you and show you the way, and you wonder why are they doing that. They sent us through a trail in the forest for 10 minutes, until you realize what's happening: the spring became a succession of bars/huts in which people charge you 50k just to sit there. After the initial shock, you start to realize that actually its very pleasant, the water is cold but good enough for a warm day. Spent there 2 hours and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Must come to explore this amazing springs. The nature, the landscape, and food are amazing. Not so much popular, but it is worth for your trip at Hue.

A bit polluted by the seasonal mass tourist but definitely worth a visit. Transparent water, elephant rocks and just naturally order with the lakes and falls. Modest restaurants with tourist price so bring your own snack. But just buy anything to leave you bag and a nice hammock chill.

Lots of trash in the river but the place holds the feeling that many locals have come here over the years, enjoyed themselves, and made great memories.

The further you walk from the parking the better it gets. If you are on your way between Hoi An and Hue and have some time to spend I would definitely say this is a good pit stop on the way. Especially if it’s a nice sunny day. We stayed down by the water for a good 2 hours and had lunch at one of the stalls, which actually was quite decent and not too expensive. It is overall a nice place to chill out but do not expect some kind of thrilling natural phenomenon. It is more or less a river with good possibility to cool down and chill out for a while.

Very nice pools. Take your time to walk up to the top and choose a place to keep your things. Don’t let the guides drag you into some place from the parking spot. Just walk up as far as you want and choose yourself.
The price for a shady rest place can be negotiated. Please support the people there, as they collect the trash around and help to keep the place clean.

We traveled from Danang (about 75 minutes). The drive was nice. Took the whole family including our 10 year old daughter. Everyone had a really great time. The place is beautiful and the water very clean. It was packed (it was a Sunday) with other people but that did not take away from our enjoyment. It was well worth the time & effort.

Visitor from New Zealand. It's a beautiful spot. Would advise changing before you go, as we weren't sure where to change. Water is amazing, and no one was pushy trying to sell us things. Lots of mats under shade which you have to pay, for but worthwhile if you're staying a while. Pools range from shallow to over head height. Worth even a quick visit, but could easily spend half a day.

A great spot on a good day, entry is something like 10,000 for a bike and 5,000 for a person. But part in the parking lot and walk straight through, at the opposite end there's about 5 steps, go up them and follow the path to the end. There's a deep pool, a few quans/bar cafes, and places to sit. You usually have to pay 50,000 a person to sit on there mats.

This was a great stop on our way from Hue to Hoi An. You will have to pay a 20k entry fee + 5k for parking.

Once you get up there some people will try to get you in their “spots” for about 50k a person (you can bargain 50%) but you can also have the option of enjoying it for free if you don’t mind leaving your belongings on the rocks!

A hidden gem in Vietnam. While there are a lot of tourists (mainly Vietnamese). It is still a fun spot to cool down during a road trip. The local Vietnamese are super kind and invite you to join them for some games,...

Beer and drinks are super cheap!

Very cool jungle retreat! Definitely worth having a guide who can take you to the spot (back roads, small jungle paths, no signs explaining entry, etc) but VERY pretty and a great place to cool off.
