Cuong Hoan Silk

Came here as part of da lat tour on bike. Uncle took me in and explained that the complete process of taking the silk out from cocoon is carried out in the same place. Place has all the setup and facilities. Can use washroom.

I stopped here on a tour of Da Lat. Learning about the silk production process and seeing the labor that goes into it is worth a visit. Clothes and other goods are available for purchase.

This place is cool, i didn't even know silk came from Little worms. My teeny uneducated brain couldn't handle it, but we still had fun. I was even given the opportunity to hook one of the lines up onto the spool but I didn't quite get it. We also got to eat one of the little suckas, not the nicest thing I've ever eaten ill be honest

Good insight to how silk is made. Some staff speak English and gave me a short tour. Then you can freely walk around the factory.
There isn't a lot of information about the machines but it was great being able to watch them work. You slowly learn how they work on your own.

Amazing place to come check out. 10k to get in but so cool to walk around. They do everything here from breeding to production. Also very cheap good quality silk stuff. Would love to go back. It was that great.

Fascinating trip around a working silk farm and a chance to see not only the caterpillars and mulberry leaves but the entire process of unraveling the cocoons onto wheels and then the thread being woven into fabric. There's a shop attached with a very nice collection of men's and women's raw silk scarves and other items at reasonable prices.

Very interesting place to see how silk is made from scratch. Totally unique experience. If you're passing by you should check it.

It was amazing to see the silk production. Cuong and Hoan were kind and hospitable. The silk was so cheap and such high quality.

Interesting to see the small factory processing the silkwarm. Entrance fee is 20k.
