Xu's homestay

This was one of our favorite meals in Vietnam! The food was great and the orange-soda drink was fresh and amazing. Ordering was super easy as they had a list and description in the menu as well. We paid 140 for 2 people including a dessert.

I was expecting the Dalat-style banh mi that comes with the meatballs on the side in a bowl with soup, but it came out deconstructed on a plate - meatball, salad with tangy sweet dressing, butter, a sunny side up egg, and shaking beef that was super garlicky and peppery.

All of these worked incredibly well with the incredibly crunchy Dalat bread, to the point where you need to be super careful with your palate. Came in a bread basket on the side, and you can ask for more anytime.

Definitely the best deconstructed banh mi I've had.

Unreal! Meatball with baguette and sunny side up, meatball, baguette were amazing! One of our favorite places to eat in the morning!
