TYNA FOOD & COFFEE

Truly a gem on the island! The most kind staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food is prepared in front of you and of great quality. The beef stew with baguette i a must try! The stew was one of my favorite dishes during our journey around Vietnam!

We stumbled by this place when we did the Dam Tre Bay hike and did not pack any food (there is no food anywhere along this hike!).
We were serviced by a very charming and friendly lady, who cooked us stir fried noodles, right before our eyes. The food was delicious. We also had a coconut, and an ice coffee. The toilet is clean and the seating outside is nice.

Two tips:
- There is no beer available, even though the signs suggest there is Saigon beer.
- The local guests had very loud videos on the whole time we were there, maybe suggest them to lower the volume or use headphones.

Overall, a very charming stop during our Con Dao visit.

We came here for taking shelter of the rain and quan made us some of the best noodels with squid we had so far. He was really nice and took care of us pretty well. Also the prices are more than ok.

Went here for lunch and had a very nice meal (beef stew with baguette - similar to some of the photos on other reviews). It is a fairly simple, family-run, side-of-the-road place, but the food is delicious and well-presented, and the couple running it is very kind and friendly. If you are staying at Poulo Condor, going to the airport, or visiting one of the beaches in this area, I recommend dropping in here.

A little miracle on the way out of the airport beach! I had the meatballs and bread. Just perfect.

Best place to eat on the whole island. We literally drive here from the City just to have lunch. Also, try coconut instead of Coca-Cola :)

Great food. The meatball banh mi was excellent, very tasty. Highly recommend this place, ideal place to stop after visiting the beach nearby.

Such lovely people serving up really good food. We stopped here to take shelter from the rain. I asked for the menu, she says " we don't have a menu, today we have chicken in ginger."
What an understatement. The very local chicken was perfectly cooked in a very fragrant ginger garlic chilli broth. Served with rice, simple salad, a very nice dressing, and came with a bowl of fresh chicken broth with melon. Total for two servings and a beer was 90,000.
Highly recommend a special stop before or after the airport.

We were staying 5 mins down the road and stumbled on this place. So glad we did. They whip up a “meal of the day” and it is always absolutely delicious. Keeps a low profile but a must go if you’re at con dao. Amazing service too!

Einer von wenigen "vietnamesischen" Orten auf Con Dao, wo man auch als ausländischer Gast willkommen ist. Viele Männer, die am Flughafen arbeiten, kommen zum Mittagessen her. Es gibt ein wechselndes Tagesgericht für 70k inklusive Reis und kleiner Suppe und einige weitere Gerichte. Es gibt eine englische Speisekarte, die Besitzer sprechen Englisch und sind sehr freundlich. Die Speisen sind frisch und schmecken köstlich. Während die Flughafenmitarbeiter nach dem Essen in einer der vorhandenen Hängematten ruhen, kann man selbst zum nahegelegenen Strand weiterziehen.
