Nice and chill, a hidden corner of Vung Tau where you can capture some nice moments

Bai Dau Beach, or Mulberry beach (sometimes called Strawberry Beach), is a small crescent shaped beach. It is historic from the French colonial era. This quite beach front was the perfect place to build a catholic church and monastery. It is still there today, and has become quite a tourist attraction. Of course most people visiting the stunning gardens are praying at the many lucky shrines.
If you are feeling fit, you can tackle the Stations of the Cross hill side trek. The life sized statues are incredible works of art. Take your camera. The Repentance Steps means the walk is not for the faint of heart. However, there are plenty of shady wayside seats, and the view from the mountain is worth the effort.
There is also an impressive and super lucky Buddhist temple next door.
My favourite ice-cream vendor does a roaring trade on hot days, because there are not many shops along that small beach.

Have you had chance to come to Vung Tau city? Vung Tau is near Ho Chi Minh city, It just takes 1 hour driving. It’s a great place to enjoy short trip on the weekend.
