Bamboo Chopsticks

What a restaurant it is. We haven't had this good food anywhere in Vietnam, not before and not after. I was searching for a mango salad this good in very places after but to my great frustration it was impossible to find it :)
We came back to this place 2 times and every dish was just DELICIOUS!
We ate:
- mango salad
- chicken with cashews
- sweat and sour chicken
- spring rolls
- chicken with turmeric and lemon grass
- chocolate cake with ice cream
- juices and smoothes
Recommend! I wish I could come back there ones more.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Bamboo Chopstick Restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making each dish a work of art. The ambience was very calming with soft music that created a truly chilled out atmosphere. What truly set this place apart, though, was the impeccable service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Ms. Anh for her incredible service and great conversation. I highly recommend Bamboo Chopstick for a perfect blend of delectable cuisine, soothing ambience, and top-notch service.

Had an amazing meal here the other night, such a shame I was only spending one night in Phong Nha otherwise I would have gone back! Ha, the lady who greeted us was so funny and charming! She gave us good recommendations, my friend and I shared the beef stew and the caramel pork with shrimp. It was incredible food. Very reasonably priced as well!

Great food and delicious coconut coffee! We had the beef stew and the chicken taste, which were both really good. And what I love is that they want to minimize plastic use, so there's no single use plastic and you can fill up your water bottle. Great initiative!! 👏

I ordered Vegetables and Rice. It was very tasty, a lot of different Vegetables.
Also the Dessert, a hot Brownie, was really good!
The Ambiente was nice, a little fire in front of the Restaurant.
Everything was fine!

Love this place .. staff and food awesome … sooo good we back for lunch!! Highlight was our waitress who was such a laugh!!! Pizza, curry spring rolls washed down with a huda AWESOME .. a must go to cafe!!! Oh nearly forgot best best coffee too

This place was great. The Phong Nha Volcano was nicely presented and tasted well seasoned with fresh rice. The tofu curry was very tasty as well. Staff extremely welcoming and friendly despite how busy it was. Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner if in Phong Nha, we would go back if not for leaving tomorrow

One of the best meals I’ve had in Vietnam so far. A little on the expensive side but was really worth it on a rainy day in Phong Nha. Proper winter warmer with the beef stew.

One of the best meals I have had in Vietnam. We had the caramel pork and shrimp and the volcanic tomatoes and both were delicious. Highly recommend when you’re visiting Phong Nha👍🏼

Great Food. Variety of choices. Our server was lovely and speaks very good English. We visited 2 times and everytime we were fully satisfied.

Incredible restaurant with amazing vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The owner is the loveliest lady & all the staff are incredible and cannot do enough for you. If you go to one restaurant in Phong Nha, go to Bamboo Chopsticks!!!

Highly recommend, really friendly people, great menu choice and food was lovely. We had the spring rolls and then the caramel pork 😋 also it has a pool table and is plastic free. Great for breakfast or lunch

Nice restaurant with good food at a decent price. We came back multiple times. The banana peanut butter smoothie is amazing and I would recommend everyone to try it. The atmosphere is good as they have a pool table and they do re water refills. Eat here if you’re in Phong Nha

I can’t say enough about this entire experience. The location is perfect, right across the street from our hotel and near all the action. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. They also have a live fire with beautiful smoked wood to invigorate the senses while eating.

The staff is amazing, especially my favourite member of their team, HÃ. Super funny, witty on top of being extremely accommodating. She seriously made us laugh. It really added to the entire experience. GIVE GER A RAISE!

The prices are more than fair and the menu is fairly extensive. The food quality is amazing is amazing. we’ve gone back four times within our short stay.

Just go and you won’t be disappointed, they run a very special operation with an entire “farm to table” “green earth” and sustainability mission operation integrated within their restaurant. Little changes for big impacts across the community, absolutely wonderful!

Tried a couple of places for an iced latte this morning and this was the best! And only 40k.

I would recommend Bamboo chopstick to any of my friends coming to phong nha who are looking for a decent espresso based coffee.

Lovely food and plenty of vegetarian options. Also food portions are really good. Went there 4 times during our stay in Phong Nha. Would highly recommend the vege spring rolls, caramel tofu, mango smoothie and passion fruit smoothie. Also very kind and helpful staff. The owner is nice and likes to chat with his guests. Highly recommend this place.

Pictured: The Full English Breakfast & The Seafood Salad. As you can see the salad was presented beautifully and tasted great. The use of passion fruit as a fish dressing really works! My partner had the breakfast and said it was OK. A traditional English breakfast is pretty hard to compete with so it’s still worth a try, but as you can see the items consist of saveloy as opposed to proper sausage and so on! It’s also the first time I’ve ever seen carrot, broccoli & bell pepper on a breakfast haha!

We would definitely return though.
