The BEST vibe in Phong Nha! Also the highest and best view and the most phenomenal host. Food is amazing and cheap - really hits the spot when you're looking for Western food. Great vegetarian options too.
One of 3 places still open after covid, and even if the other places open it definitely beats the vibes that some of the other tourist spots had.
Mama D also has blankets and a fireplace to warm those bones when it gets cold, not to mention great cocktails and welcome shots! 😀

Fantastic rooftop bar with stunning views and great drink specials such as G&T for 40k. There's even a decent variety of craft beers at reasonable prices. There's a small selection of food from their own kitchen, mostly inexpensive pub grub such as nachos or homemade sausages. For more substantial meals you can order from a couple of other restaurants in town including Indian from Omar's. Spending a night out at Momma D is an absolute must in Phong Nha

Friendly staff, nice view, good for a few sunset drinks. Its not exactly cheap but you pay for the quality of view and drink options. Happy hour was worth it (until 6.30pm) with a few drink deals. We had the vietnamese rolls and my son had a pizza- all were fine. Good option for nice evening setting.

They have the best drinks selection in the whole province! Amazing Vietnamese craft beers, craft ciders and professionally made cocktails - you can spend a lot of time up there going through their menu.

The view is the best in town. It is the highest building in Ohong Nha and has amazing sunset views over the limestone mountains. Due to the height and the wind it is also a little cooler up there - just perfect!

The owner, Denise, is super friendly and happy to give you tips on what to do in the area. She makes you feel like you’re part of the family in an instant.

Great rooftop bar with superb craft beer, delicious nachos and friendly staff. Momma D gave us some great information and made us feel super comfortable. Definitely worth a visit when in Phong Nha. Beautiful view of sunset, too.

It is a perfect place for sunset while enjoying a very good cocktail, the best we had in our trip in Vietnam (within 5 weeks). You access there by entering the hotel on the ground floor and then take a lift up to the 8th.
Denise is super nice and very friendly.They have good wine too which was surprising to be honest and also a couple of beers. The view is gorgeous and almost 360 as it is one of the tallest building in town.It is definitely worth going there and prices are ok for such a nice place.

Excellent selection of craft beer. Even some draft! Pretty sure it’s the only place you can get a good (craft) beer in Phong Nha area. Great rooftop. I had some Indian food which was excellent. The next day I went back for some french fries because they have Heinz ketchup! Well done. A must stop when you’re in this area.

Momma D’s was the cherry on top of our overall wonderful experience while staying in Phong Nha. I came after reading the reviews about the bar having a nice rooftop view, and I am certainly glad I did. Such a relaxing yet fun atmosphere with breathtaking views, rain or shine. From the free (and delicious) welcoming shot each time you arrive, to the blankets you can borrow if the wind picks up, this place has it all. Did I mention the craft beer on the menu!? Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Love the chill vibe and amazing scenery. Sits on top of the Thuong Hai Hotel - the tallest hotel in Phong Nha - so it has the best views in town. Perfect place for a relaxing drink at sunset after a day of caving. I was lucky enough to be there for Tet and the fireworks were practically raining down on our heads. Awesome experience!

Great place to unwind and relax after a day in the caves. Denise is awesome, not only can you have a great general conversation, she is very knowledgeable about the area. If you go where she mentions, you'll have a great time. The beers are cold, good happy prices, good cocktail selection and pricing. Staff are also friendly and views can't be beat for sunset.

Home made western food (burgers, shepherds’ pie, bangers and mash etc), wonderful cocktails, craft beer, and travel advice. What more could you need? We came for dinner but stayed for the conversation!

Very nice rooftop bar and restaurant in Phong Nha. Definitely worth for sunsets. Happy Hour offers are great but also without Happy Hour you get a good price. Also the Food was very delicious and affordable. Definitely a must go in Phong Nha! Don’t be shy just check it out :-)

I had been looking towards that roof top for quite some time. Today i finally decided to visit it. It was as awsome experience as i had hope for. The view was amazing, to have a cold beer with a 360 degree view of the sourrounding area was stunning. The women who owns the place is a really nice individual, who was inspiering to talk to and hear her story. Would warlmy recommend a visit to this place!

Gorgeous views and chill vibes. Denise is super nice and knowledgeable about the area. She helped us pick which tour to go on! Slightly higher prices but so worth it for the view. Beer 30k and a glass of wine 80k. Nice selection of liquor too. We’ll be back!

Best cocktails we have had in Vietnam and an amazing view in the evening. Good craft beer from 7 Bridges in Da Nang. House made snacks and light food, larger meals can be ordered from a few nearby restaurants. We stopped by for a cocktail every night during or 3 day stay.

Relax on top of the highest building in phong nha while having good drinks, feel welcome by momma d's charm and calm down by an amazing view on mountains around you-nearly 360°. Probably you can enjoy the sunset...come and try!

Great views from up here. Had a good chat with Denise about the area and she gave us some good tips on places to check out. Decent happy hour and a free shot when you arrive sometimes. Lots of free games to play. It's on the top floor of the hotel so just walk past the front desk and take the elevator to the top floor.

Mama is amazing, charming, lovely and mixes the vest drinks in town. Prices are ok, view for sunset perfect!
