Simply wonderful to communicate with stay at and pay for.
This family run business is amazing and comes with a price far too reasonable for what you receive.
Tu the owner is so helpful so happy and hard working it’s hard not to feel that you’re at home. The rooms are large and spotless. The swimming pool was such a nice surprise as are a host of free extras or very small fees for extra things. If you are lucky enough to stay here you will be so happy you did.

Tu Tu is a fantastic host with a lovely family. So helpful and thoughtful with anything you need. Found place for our friend when everything was booked up over the holiday. Great location and lovely pool area with places to chill out. Large room with enormous shower. We had a great stay.

Tutu, our beloved host in all of Vietnam. She was so generous and so nice, l giving us the best accommodation a family can have, and take care of us like we are her family. Great facilities, clean rooms, nothing bad to say. we will miss this place a lot already. Thanks you and all your family, you sure going to be in touch in the future

Tu Tu is a great host and this place really is a little gem. It’s far enough out of town to be quiet. But Tu Tu and the family will always help you find the places to go or be. Always accommodating and ready to help.

We took the bikes on a rural bike ride, crossing the river by a tiny transport boat and then back through the town. All thanks to Tu Tu’s advice.

There are some dodgy places to stay, but this is not one. Choose this place and you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful Homestay experience!!! We love Tu Tu and her family. This host was so helpful before we arrived and during our stay with arranging Sleeper buses, taxis, tours & massages. Her whole place is sparkling clean and quiet with a lovely garden and pool. The wifi is stable, good hot water shower, working air conditioning, fans, fridge, kettle and decent beds with very firm mattresses. The food she offered was excellent and dinner was offered a la carte or family style. Eating family style allowed is to try a variety of her best dishes and meet the other guests. The pool was lovely as well and bikes were available to explore the village and get a private or semi-private boat to see Phong Nha cave (spectacular!!). We loved everything about our stay at Dawn Residence, especially our kind, beautiful host Tu Tu.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this great homestay! It is a family run business and every one of the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my stay was excellent. Tu Tu is great! The rooms were very nice and the food was delicious. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

In total we spend 3 night's at TuTus amazing Homestay. One night before and after our two day Cave Tour and one night could be arranged on very short notice because our night bus wouldn't go. We're so thankful for that! TuTu and her family are such amazing hosts! They helped us arrange buses from the airport to the homestay as well as from the homestay to Hoi An. We highly recommend daily family dinner which varies in taste and size according to the desires of the guests (meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan).
In total we highly recommend staying with TuTu and her family! We will for sure when we're back in Phong Nha!

This was the best homestay we had in all 4.5 months of travel. Tu Tu is the best, kindest host who genuinely cares about her guests and goes above and beyond to make them feel welcome. She and her mom also are fabulous cooks. The rooms were comfy and clean, the pool was great, and we used free bicycles for a quick ride into the town center. Definitely stay here if you can!

Tu Tu runs an incredible homestay! Everything is so organized and she is there to help with everything from arranging transfers, getting you set up with a scooter or motorbike, or cooking "family dinner" and breakfast. 10/10 recommend staying with Tu Tu.

This is easily the best boutique homestay I have stayed. The rooms and facilities are super clean, and everyone is so nice, and helpful. The food is fantastic. I will be running business through the area, and this will be my regular place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Phong Nha Dawn home, it was absolutely perfect and I would recommend staying here to everyone! The room was spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed and the facilities at the home stay were excellent. The breakfast was delicious and we also chose to eat at the home stay both evenings at ‘family dinner’ with the other guests, the food was incredible and it was such a lovely atmosphere. What makes this place so special is Tu Tu and her family (including their most adorable puppy). I had been messaging Tu Tu the week leading up to our stay and she had been so helpful, booking in advance a cave tour for us, sorting out our night bus transport and arranging to pick us up when we arrived to Phong Nha. She absolutely goes above and beyond for all of her guests and makes us feel like family, this place really felt like home and I didn’t want to leave. I have never met people that work so hard to make sure her guests have a lovely stay, I cannot thank them enough!

I can't recommend this place enough. Everyone mentions TuTu (and her family) for a reason in their reviews - we too were lucky to have experienced their hospitality. The community dinners are absolutely delicious (do join!) and a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow travellers and your hosts. Thanks again TuTu for a memorable time!

A beautiful place to stay in a stunning location. The rooms are lovely and the owners are so kind. I would highly recommend getting the family dinner, all the food was incredible!

Very nice homestay, well located, very clean and comfy. The best part of it is definitely the owner. She took care of everything, they came to pick us up a 2h30 AM and then booked a tour for us for the same day. She was very helpful for everything. She arranged for a bus transfer to Hue. She even let us take a shower before the bus, even if we already checked out. And on top of that, they make amazing food at the homestay, one of our best meal in Vietnam.

Dawn Homestay has everything you need when staying in Phong Nha TuTu will help you organize any tour you would like as well as transport when you leave. Everything was just so simple to work with her. Words can’t describe how thankful I am for Tutu and her homestay. My wife and I had a motorcycle accident and need hospital attention and she personally accompanied us to the large hospital in Dong Hoi. She sat with us and helped to communicate with the hospital staff while also getting us food and medication/supplies we needed. I don’t know how our accident would have shaken out without her help but Tutu is truly a saint! Once back from the hospital she took care of all our needs for the next few days so that we could peacefully recover. I can’t recommend this homestay enough.

TuTu was very very accommodating to us and helped us make the most of our time in Phong Nha.

Really nice big rooms and clean bathrooms.

Breakfast was freshly prepared, and we had dinner here too which was really nice.

I’d recommend anyone visiting Phong Nha to stay here.

Everything was perfect ! The hosts were very welcoming. They offered to come get us at the bus stop at 3 am! The rooms were spacious and nice. Fruits for breakfast would be a nice addition.

Tu Tu is an amazing host! We absolutely loved our stay! Prices are reasonable! Included breakfast is delicious and the owner is super helpful! The rooms are really nice! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here, the whole family are so lovely! We were picked up at 4am from the bus stop which we were so thankful for. The rooms were as the pictures, with towels, shampoo, soap, kettle etc. everything we needed for our short stay! The rooms were lovely and quiet and we chose pancakes every morning for breakfast as they were very very good. There is a well maintained pool and a pool table which kept us entertained and they even have pedal bikes you can borrow for free, or motorbikes you can easily hire! We had a lovely meal here on our last night, very good food and reasonably priced, before they dropped us back to the bus stop for a bus we had booked through them too! 10/10 would recommend!

The best home stay I have ever stayed in. Tutu goes above and beyond to ensure the needs of every one of her guests are met. Myself and my partner were picked up from the bus station at 4am and taken to the home stay for no extra charge. Scooters and bicycles are available to rent - Tutu even gave me a lesson on how to drive the scooter. Her family is extremely welcoming and friendly, would highly recommend joining them for dinner (delicious food).
