Victory Road Villas

My only complaint is we didn't stay longer. We stayed in the River View Penthouse and it was wonderful. We did the Hang En Cave 2 day trekking tour, and our breakfast was made and ready early for us to catch the bus, and dinner and drinks were opened for our return. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the place was beautiful

Amazing! As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the friendly staff and seated for a welcome drink. Our room was absolutely beautiful, good view of the green landscape, very close to some of the caves. The food was well presented and delicious. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed the indoor fire on a cold night. The bed was super comfortable nice hard mattress. Staff are very helpful and accomodating. I had a headache on arrival and they got me Panadol to help. Would definitely come back here.

We stayed in the penthouse villa which was just amazing. Super luxurious and wonderful location. Pool was great, restaurant fantastic as well. Ability to use bikes free of cost from the hotel was a nice touch as Phong Nha is bests traversed as such. Very relaxing!

We loved it. Huge bedroom, downstairs a big room with kitchen. We liked the location to the boat station (from where the boat goes to the cave) about 1km, so close. High standard of service, room, cleaning. Breakfast is good, it is chosen from the card and there are quite a few European options. The owner within 5 minutes can arrange a scooter for 150 vnd :) they also helped us a lot because they agreed to check in at night for a fee, so when we arrived in the middle of the night the key was waiting for us. Of the small flaws - in the room there was a slight smell of mosquito repellant and you can feel it throughout the apartment.

Geniunely one of the best stays I've had in Vietnam. Their attention to detail makes this place a cut above the rest - from drinking water in the room, a kitted out kitchen, diffusers that make the place smell fresh and the softest pillows. Not to mention the beautiful outside bath, strong water pressure and a stocked mini bar for reasonable prices. This is incredible value for money.
The staff were helpful and always around if you needed anything. Usually western food on menus in Vietnam mostly doesn't deliver when it comes to taste, this place knew what they were doing. The pastas were tasty with huge portions. Delicious coffees.
I was very impressed with their bar too! Delicious imported gins and a variety of whiskeys.
Don't stay anywhere else in Phòng Nha.

Wonderful stay here. Very comfortable bed compared to other hotels during our trip and AC both downstairs and upstairs. Hotel staff was very helpful and assisted with laundry, renting a scooter, and any other special requests and recommendations. This is an awesome spot to spend several days and unwind.

remarkable! if i would ever say it is 100 out of 100 this place would be it. be loved the super friendly staff, dinner was great with some australian influences. perfect meat and pizza’s. rooms are clean, large and super comfortable. amazing and thank you!

Victory Road Villas is advertised as a three star hotel, yet I would easily say it's a four star hotel. The service is impeccable and friendly, the food delicious, and the grounds/accommodations top notch. Everything from the down pillows to the plush toilet paper screams excellence. It's actually incredibly impressive that they've managed to execute this in a jungle environment. The main floor of our villa has a living area and kitchen along with a private patio equipped with an outdoor shower. Lush vegetation decorates the patio and the lovely sounds of wildlife are everywhere. Venture upstairs and there is a bedroom with king size bed, a lovely bathroom, and another patio with a swing overlooking the tropical mountain vista. Hungry? Stop in at the restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal (props to the chef who exceeded expectations). Maybe play a game of pool while you sip a cocktail. Hot? Take a plunge in the pool or maybe hit the sauna first. Across the street is a waterway, a backdrop of mountains and swings to take it all in.

The location is fabulous. It truly feels like an untouched tropical paradise - an escape from the hustle and bustle of Vietnam's large cities. We visited during the rainy season and still everything was open to the public. We would recommend renting a scooter and heading to the mountains where you can visit the various caves on your own. But, if visiting during the rain season, bring a serious raincoat - we were quite chilled on the motorbikes but we would do it again (it was that fun). Paradise cave includes a walk through the jungle up to a mountain and down into the cave. The jungle walk is preceded by another walk through the grounds and we would recommend taking a buggy for this initial portion; otherwise you're easily looking at 2 hours of intense walking. Dark cave was more of an adventure with an initial zip line across the water, followed by a walk/wade into the cave. The cave exploration ends in a mud bath, followed by a swim and kayak. It was great fun, even in the rain.

We booked three nights and have another exciting day ahead of us. Phong Nha and Victory Road Villas is a must on any itinerary. In fact, it seems like the road less traveled which gives it a very special quality.

My wife and I stayed here recently over the holiday weekend as we were planning on going hiking and camping in the caves nearby. Really cute place, good mix of western and vietnamese food and super friendly and helpful staff. Hien was amazing and she was a big help when we needed assistance before deciding to head on our cave tour. Great location and good pizza too.

Really great value for money. Staff is super friendly and arranged all our transfers and tours. The rooms are huge, just remember to bring enough Moskito repellent as the area is pretty full of Moskitos. Btw if you need a break from Vietnamese food the Spaghetti with tomato sause (oftentimes a boring dish) was amazing there!

Just spent 3 wonderful days at Victory Road villas . The business is so professionally run with well-trained staff ,beautiful rooms and information on everything there is to do around Phuong nha including podcasts that can be downloaded and used when visiting the sites . Thanks to Ben and miss Bich and the wonderful staff for such a great stay. See you next year.

Lovely food in a pretty and very comfortable restaurant! We loved our lunch here. Food was delicious and the dining area is great with comfortable chairs :-) great value for money!! Will definitely come back for more :)

It is a very nice Hotel at the river with phantastic view on the mountains. The appartments are beautiful and the food is very good. The kitchen also fulfills extra wishes concerning Vietnamese food. Lan, the Hotel manager, is a pearl trying to help you fast and effectively.
All the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Perfect location in the middle of Victory Road with river view. Indeed they have the best burgers in Phong Nha. Service is good and food is delicious. It is also a nice place to hangout for a drink, beautiful overall and very photogenic swimming pool.

Like a lot of places in Vietnam they had the funny sign out the front “undisputed best burger in phong na”. The place looked alright, so I went in and ordered one of the burgers. They have a new chef that started and trying new things (He came out to ask for feedback). Honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve had, if I was back in Australia I would have been charged $30 for it… bread is phenomenal, overall 6 stars if I could.

Awesome place to stay with very friendly staff. Food was exceptional and nothing was a problem to the staff.
They also kept the beer cold and flowing. The villas are awesome and the beds and pillows are so soft there is rocking to sleep.
Ms Lan and her staff give an outstanding service and work very hard to keep the customers happy.

Victory Road Villas locates in a really good location with Son river in the front, and the mountains in the back. We enjoyed our 3 nights here so much. The staffs are friendly. The hotel is also pretty famous in Phong Nha for its restaurant, which serves both Vietnamese and western dishes ( which i think the quality is decent, of course you can’t expect the same quality of western food in Saigon)

Best place to stay on the River! Rooms are so clean and feel so luxurious - the outdoor bathtub was a real bonus. All staff are AMAZING, we got chatting to the owners husband who also did us a favour and dropped us off to for our morning bus. Could not recommend this place any more highly.

Close to the river and the centre of Phong Nha, this restaurant / hotel has a pool and a very very nice cosy area next to the bar which turned out to be very refreshing after the zip line of the dark cave. Excellent service and a pool table!

Splurge and stay here. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Historic photos on the walls throughout the complex. Across the street from the river. Friendly English-speaking staff. Western menu with a full bar. A pool. A huge three bedroom penthouse available. Walk a few places and you can jump on a boat to Phuong Nha Cave. Plenty of places to explore here.
