Lucky Spot Beach Bungalow

Situated in a tranquil Vietnamese fishing village, this beach bungalow offers a genuine and heartfelt experience. The welcoming locals keep the beaches relatively clean, although depending on the tide, it can be a bit polluted—a common challenge throughout Vietnam.

The staff are friendly, and meals prepared by the local cook are a delicious and authentic departure from standard fare. The owners, a German couple with Vietnamese roots, actively support the local community and foster genuine tourism, maintaining a lovely relationship with their staff.

Exiting your room directly onto the sandy beaches is a sublime experience, offering a perfect setting for relaxation and an escape from life’s stresses for a few days.

We fully recommend this retreat to those seeking relaxation and a supportive, authentic experience.

We were greeted on the beach when we arrived by Lisa, who spoke terrific English and made us feel very welcome.
What an ideal place to unwind after the busy cities. It's right on the beach, so basically, you step out of your room into the soft white sand. We had a fantastic view of the beach from the balcony and spent time watching the fishermen go out in their round boats.
We ate delicious food in the shade of the grass hut, and the drinks went down well, too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again next time.

Just spent 3 nights here. Very quiet and relaxing. Jenny was the ultimate hostess. The staff cooked up delicious food. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Soft sand and gentle ocean. The only downside, though no fault of Lucky Spot is the trash that comes in with the tide. However, the staff picks up morning and afternoon in front of the hotel. This makes a huge difference. Highly recommend.

Spent a week here and loved every minute! The room was smallish, but very nice, clean and comfortable. The private patio out front was wonderful.
The beach is incredible! Soft, fine white sand with a long slope out into the ocean. Great for walking out into the Waves and having fun. Very few other facilities here meant that a short walk down the beach I was able to claim my own stretch of beach and barely saw anyone the whole day!
This place is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation, so don't expect much nightlife.
The hosts were extremely helpful and very friendly! Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay! I'm already looking forward to my return visit 🙂

Completely off the beaten track and the quietist location yet in Vietnam! Exactly what we wanted after the constant hustle and bustle of towns and cities and all the beeping!! The bungalows are on a long stretch of beach and it’s the only place with a restaurant. We loved the food but if you are planning on staying for a week you may tire of it.

Our journey to get there was tricky and the host and the driver were amazing at helping us plan and get there!

They were super generous with extra towels :)

We loved the host, she was very attentive and friendly and helpful. She speaks fantastic English and she has a lovely aura. We also loved her little dog :) The juices are amazing and the setting is stunning. If you want a quiet time this is the place for you. We had a gorgeous relaxing time! The female chefs were amazing too, great service and worked so hard. Fully recommend this for a time out spot :)

We had a very Nice stay. Perfect place to land and Connect with the vietnamese nature away from the fuzz and buzz in the big cities.

Very nice place, calm, clean directly at the beach & perfect to chill and relax. Some nice small hikes around. Jenny the manager was super friendly & helpfull, she helped me a lot by organizing my trip. Can highly recommend to stay there!

Beautiful little hotel directly on a very nice and clean beach! The owner is extremly kind and helpfull so you feel right at home. BTW the food is delicious and they speak English, German and Viernamese. Absolutely recommended!

Excellent hospitality from the host Lisa and friendly staff! This lovely bungalow complex is located directly on an amazing beach where you literally have the whole beach for your own. Great and neat bungalow room which is nicely decorated and provided all needed amenities to improve your stay. Delicious vietnamese food and the included breakfast was awesome, too. Highly recommended.

Great hotel! The staff is nice, the food is good (especially the breakfast pancake!), the beach is beautiful with big waves.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The only downside (and not a big one) is the timetable for the kitchen : you can't order food between noon and 4pm, or after 7pm.

We stayed at Lucky Spot Beach for 1 whole month and could not choose better. Lisa was an amazing host and took very good care of us. Until you see the place, you do not believe it exists. Morning swim in the empty and beautiful sea, tasty breakfast, great coffee, and repeat. The only trouble was the internet connection, but it is supposed to be dealt with soon - and really, you should not be online at places like this. Also, we recommend to take a hike above the village, those are amazing views.

Unbelievable location: opposite to the quite, peaceful and isolated beach! I think it's a homestay with 5 stars luxury resort view!

Paradise. This place is truly a lucky spot, on the sand with the best seat in the house to a stunning beach scene. Lisa runs a relaxing, happy place. She is very attentive, friendly and super quick to communicate in messages and during the days of stay. There's actually a lot to do in the area, very manageable (we did with two small kids, youngest 18 months) but very rewarding. Climb the bluff for spectacular views and a great sense of accomplishment, ride to the fishing villages and rice fields, play beach volleyball, Kubb, paddle ball, swim in the gentle waves, walk along the beach to the boulder caves. We extended our stay to enjoy the place longer. Food is excellent, definitely try the chicken curry and papaya salad. We will be back!

This is a lovely family-run place with bungalows on the beach and spectacular views! Staff was very helpful, communication was great. Rooms are basic but they have everything you need and even the WiFi was strong. The bed was especially good (not the super-hard beds popular at many hotels in Vietnam, but comfortably firm western mattresses). We had dinner there - reasonably priced and a fair selection - and a good breakfast that was included in the room rate. We only stayed for one night, but next time we're in the area, I'd stay longer here.

It's a wonderful, charming place and has lovely owners. The rooms are comfortable, really clean and include warm water, air con, free WiFi, water kettle, mini bar etc.. They have awesome vietnamese food, you really have to try it. The quiet and beautiful beach is not only right in front of it, it seems to be integrated. The surrounding countryside is pure typically vietnamese villages ( including a market, small shops which cover all your needs) and nature.

It's my first choice and recommend for a stay at the Vietnamese Central Coastline.

Lovely place, friendly and helpful staff. Would like to stay forever. If you searching for paradise on earth - Lisa has it!
