COZY

Went here over the weekend with my boyfriend. This store was new to me so I peeked in. Found some clothing, 1st thing the fitting room was closed, seemed sketchy so I shrugged it off and made my purchase. 1st mistake. The receipt machine wasn’t working.
I went home and tried on the items ID purchased, 1st I bought my size or larger and nothing fit. So if your on the curvy side buy up a few sizes up if you dare tread here.
I drive back the NEXT DAY, I explain and she asks “ok you have your receipt”, mind you I have long purple hair and I am very hard to confuse with someone else. I tell her she told me I could bring them back no issues. So I tell her if you could look up my purchase we can go from there. She tells me exchange only….there is no sign and she DID NOT explain that before I’d left the store other wise I would have skipped on the purchase. I tell her I looked thru your whole store yesterday nothing else would fit or peaks my interest. Why would you not explain this yesterday. She continues to go back and forth with me so I go back thru the store feeling self-conscious even more so of myself scrounging for something that MAY fit. I end up with things I did not want and I tell her there is nothing else. I can find can she just refund me the remaining 8.88 +tax for the last item. She says she cannot so I ask cannot or will not I just watched you take a cash purchase. She continues back and forth and then points to the occupancy sign regarding the return policy. I say I don’t care about your occupancy levels there’s only 1 other person in the store. She refused my refund again so I spend another 20 mins to find something else and find 2 tanks that probably won’t fit so I’ll end up giving them away. She tried to CHARGE ME FOR BOTH. I ask why are you charging me 11.98 when you still owe me 1 item and these are signed for 5.99.? She co to yes to fact check me and I told her I returned 5 items I only originally found 4. I owe 3.10 no more so I put the money in her hand and put my remaining items in the bag and suggested posting the returns policy up and opening the dressing room. Women are already mocked and ridiculed for their sizes and we beat ourselves up enough, don’t have a policy like that in place without an open fitting room. It’s bad business.
