Food Lion

Foodlion is pretty good place to shop. You get good discounts with their free store discount card, which brings their low prices even lower.

My favorite store is in Clayton on highway 70 and I go at least twice a week. And I love the people There so nice to me.

I went shopping for a few things and bought a single serving of oreo cake and red velvet cake but it never made it in my cart. Now I'm home so I tried to call them 8 times but no pick up only hang up. I'm going back tomorrow to see if I can get my slices but now I don't have the receipt cause it got wet and is unreadable. 930pm August 12th 2023. Very nice cashier and bagger. I'm thinking it just one of those things that happens. Tomorrow I'll find out if they really pride themselves on customer service like they say on there recording. I'm a dasher and know all about great customer service. I hope that there on the level that I am.
Follow up.
Went in today to see if I could get my desserts. I went to customer service counter and waited just a few minutes until one of the managers came over. I explained to her what happened and it was no problem. She said just go get what you has and come back here to bag it. I went and got the same type. Came back and bagged it. As I was walking out, I thanked her and said I'd be seeing her again. Meaning that they hadn't lost me or my husband as a shopper buy only cemented us for the long haul.

Can't go wrong at food lion especially when you don't want to deal with Walmart!

I went in on Mother’s Day to grab flowers for my mom. Just a week prior I lost my mom suddenly and was going to put the flowers on her grave. The manager asked if I was a mother and I told him I just lost my mom. He gave me the flowers for free. Something so small made a difference for a day like today. I greatly appreciated that.

Good store very helpful staff

This is becoming my new go-to store. So far have been impressed with the produce and especially the meats. Staff is great, very helpful.

Amazing experience every time I go in, everyone is so nice and always very helpful. Very clean and always awesome deals. They also have a very handsome guy helping with bagging the groceries now ☺☺ I didn't notice a name tag cause I was focused on the smile but definitely my favorite food lion now 👍👍

Betty the cashier was extra friendly. She opened the express lane for us even though we had more items. Customer service at its best. Thanks to Stephanie on this visit

Great place to shop lots of selections of everything

Like this location because they always have live plants! Their food selections are decent. I do love their hot wing bar! I would like to see more varieties. I like this location over Flowers Plantation location. That location is really basic.

Employees very helpful and courteous. Store well stocked and clean. We were there on Monday before Hurricane Florence due on Thursday. All registers were open and they were moving customers through rapidly. Great PR on their part!!

I love this food lion the best.. The employees are amazing and go above and beyond. Today Aaron helped me load my groceries when he saw I was having a hard time getting my toddler settled and loading my groceries... They store always has what I need and its such a calming environment

Knowing that Food Lion doesn't have the all the shelves stocked ; they are trying to get them done . I was impressed with this I figured that I could find something else instead of getting upset. This is where I do most of my shopping. The cashier was very nice . I never have a problem with any of the employees that work at Food Lion. I do feel that seniors need to be able to go shopping before the other people so they can get what they need first until this nasty virus is over with. Then the handicap should be next. These are my thoughts. Food Lion as done a great job. Thank you.

Selection of different items was very good. Prices weren't bad, especially with your MVP card. Staff was very friendly. Was in and out fairly quickly. Not the closest grocery store to my house, but I'd definitely go back

I liks this store you save alot of money if you have a MVP card and sign up for digital coupons. Who doesn't love that? The produce department is kept cool so you know it's fresh. They always have a great sale $$.

I love my Food Lion, great employees (fun to chat with a lot of them). Deli dept (Miss Pearl) is superior, Mgr Ben is the greatest! Just about only FL store, we go to

Being located in an older looking shopping strip, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw how Food Lion's vegetables and fruits are displayed. No willed fruits or vegetables either. I walked all over the "clean" store. Next time I am in Clayton I'll be Shopping with Food Lion.

Somehow, I tend to forget that Food Lion is right down the road - they're a good alternative to Lowe's Foods and WalMart, and are just as close to us. Doing a price check for the items I needed for my seafood boil, I was surprised they had the others beat - and they had snow crab legs for just $10.99 per lb! I loaded up, for sure!
