La Tapatia Supermarket

I was getting new tires on my RV at discount tire. They recommend this place. I am happy they did.
When I went in I thought “this is just a supermarket”, but I ask a cashire where is the restaurant. He stopped what he was doing, taking me over to it.
The 1st person who waited on me didn’t speak English (that’s a real Mexican restaurant 😀), so they got me someone else. Staff helped me make a great choice. My meal was outstanding…. good quality and large quantity. I had plenty for a meal later that night.
Very nice menu selection, clean, small seating area, all in a supermarket.
Huge parking area for any size RV. Now this place is off the main drag, but it’s very much worth the effort

The food is delicious and fresh, and you get a lot for a fair price. Highly recommend 👌

This place is amazing, has everything you would want and more. Super authentic experience, brings me back to my youth. And these diablo Doritos are insanely good. The hot case looked super good too. Definitely gotta try it next time.

This is a very Mexican market. Huge selection of items. I don't speak Spanish and it was still OK but some items are only written in Spanish, so know what you are buying! I was in specifically for the Taqueria and Panderia. I ordered a carnitas burrito and grabbed a couple pan dulces. All very good. Burrito red salsa was hot but sweet and fresh tasting. Green salsa was mild avocado and so good. I'll go back for sure.

Best selection of meat, produce, bakery, and hot Deli items. The store is constantly rotating and cleaning shelves and employees are very friendly. All important for me to shop at and return again

Think you need to speak spanish to pickup the BEST ground beef in salem? Not at all...(even though I do) If you want the tastiest burgers EVER, head to the back of the store, & ask for their beef & pork cuts...better than others "organic grass fed"

Best burritos in town super nice staff great service visit if you get a chance, don’t miss their fresh meat fresh deli or fresh take out they have it all!

I have tried their carnitas, rotisserie chicken, the tripitas and their costillas en salsa verde with beans and each one was muy muyy muyyyy bueno amigos. The aroma emanating from those costillas en salsa verde was beautiful compas. When you fry pork ribs to a crisp and then you smother them in a bath of tomatillo sauce the end result is something truly delicious. That costillitas en salsa verde is one of my all time favorite Mexican dishes and the ones they cook here are one of the best around.

My first visit here on a Friday.
It’s like going to el Mercado In home town Mexico. They have everything you need one stop store. Fresh food and veggies, candy,piñatas. Beer and drinks,medication, salsas,dry chiles by weight. Meat, fresh bread and bakery. Hot food. If you have a craving from Mexico this is the place to go. I bough custom mil hojas cake. The best Mil hojas: one layer of cheese cream, and 3 layers of cream. Fresh fruit on top.( they did charge extra for this placement of letters)

Awesome tacos and tamales! Very large grocery store and fresh hot and food to go also. Yum!!! Tried the pastoor tacos and chicken tamale. So dang good.

Great place to find authentic Mexican products and food, the fish ceviche is up to par.. I bought a birthday 🎂cake for my sons 4th birthday and asked for a spiderman decor and it came out great, way better than what I expected!

Such a cool place to explore. They have a creamery, a restaurant, a place to for snacks, and it’s a store.

Always have the best cakes all mostly come in full sheet sizes including individual slices, super yummy! One thing I know will always be great as well which is hard to find … avocados! Ripest ones in town for sure. Their pan dulces and taqueria is great as well. I love their shrimp ceviche and fish one as well also their aguachiles very spicy but so good! Highly recommend this place.

Biggest Mexican grocery store in Salem. Great selection, great deli, banking services, excellent bakery, huge seafood and meat counter, beautiful produce, just can't say enough about this place. Tortillas made on site, sold still warm every time I've been in.

My dad loves liver and is always looking for it in steak size pieces and not just the little ones that come in the container. We came here and got 4 big inch thick liver steaks and only paid 7.42 cents. The prices are great, the deli is great and the avocados are incredible. Their whole produce section was beautiful. I highly recommend coming here for good meat and produce at great prices. They DO take EBT for those who use it.

I love coming here! It’s the best place for fresh authentic Mexican ingredients. They have fresh cooked tamales, birria, carnitas and other dishes. They have a wide variety of fresh meat, vegetables, fruits, candy, snacks; anything you need for a delicious dinner!

This is the Cleanest market I have seen in Salem
With the freshest veggies and amazing carneceria with hot food ready to go with a restaurant inside and a desert bar also inside this is the place to get everything you need
