Make this your first stop and you'll never be disappointed! While the selection rotates, they have many items you can find reliably and a great selection of vegan, natural, and organic foods! Some prices are equal to other stores, but you will find deals that will blow your mind on every trip!

I love shopping here to see what is new - the selection is always changing and you can find some really great deals or products you've never even heard of before. Staff are always friendly and pleasant. Big wine and beer selection as well. Pay attention to the prices though - some things are definitely not as good of a deal as the "elsewhere" price can seem a bit inflated. I also find the meat and produce departments to be a bit pricier than local traditional grocery shops but not exorbitantly so.

Love me some Gross-Out! Seriously, they have far more items and selection here than you would expect, especially for Grocery Outlet. Employees always friendly and helpful in my experience. Great prices on some stuff, not so much on everything..

But this location is better than many others I've been to.

It's a great store in general, aisles are spacious and the freezer section seems to be larger here. I still keep going here for certain items. The frozen seafood is inexpensive and consistent. Shrimp and Tilapia especially. There is an app which is very useful in seeing what's there before you go. Super busy on Saturday nights for some reason.

My FAVORITE grocery store. Great deals, friendly employees, lots of interesting high-end foods for crazy prices. Tons of selection of organic, gluten free, fancy-brand stuff, just what one would expect in hipster Ballard. Also, great wine and beer selection. It brings me joy to shop here. Seriously. I got all the food in this overloaded shopping cart for $116!

Such great prices on items I normally buy at Fred Myers and Whole Foods. Makes me wonder why I shop at the other store.

Recently under new management, who seem to be doing a *much* better job with stocking than the old manager(s). To be frank, the store had gone way downhill over the past few years, with empty shelves and bad prices. Looks like things have turned around.

For reals, some of the deals here are pretty crazy and they have good brands and good variety. The aisles are definitely confusing so it takes a while to get through but I think that's just the nature of the fact that some items are seasonal or temporary. Either way, go here before you go to the other stores. Thank me later.

I dislike grocery outlet just because I van never find what I'm looking for and this was my 1st time shopping at this location. Chris working in the freezer section asked if I needed help and that guy made my trip a lot shorter than it would have been had he not offered to help me find everything. Just want to say thanks for your help. I will be returning again in the future.

I love this place. The manger and staff are great, helpful no attitude. I have found great bargains especially in cheeses and fresh meats. The selection can vary and be relatively small at times but they have the best deals on wine in town.

Easy place to buy tons of snack food. Also has an incredible Selection of discounted small production beers, ciders, wines, and basically anything that isn’t hard liquor… keep in mind every location gets a different inventory and that inventory will usually be changing.. also ask a sales person to check the back if there’s something you want/need but aren’t finding. They often have stuff that they only got one or two of in the back that can be purchased by request.

Great prices on wine, vitamins, supplements, cold cuts, and many other products. Not the best for vegetables or milk (anything fresh).
Staff always super friendly and helpful. In fact they are wonderful!! Highly recommend. Start your shopping here, then go to Safeway, Trader Joe’s, Fred Meyer for the items that Grocery outlet doesn’t carry and you’ll save big 💪💵

Everything was clean and perfectly faced. Store owner came to help bag our things and was VERY sweet. You could tell how much he loved his job and cared about his employees. It was honestly heartwarming. I wish we lived closer!!!

Can't say enough good things about this place!
The prices are of course the reason you go. But this location doesn't have expired items like some places might. And every single staff member I have encountered has been wonderful. They have recommended new things or asked if I have seen something specific based off of my purchase, etc. I hope they are getting paid well because they are all wonderful and makes the shopping experience less painful :)

Love stopping by grocery outlet. I come here for random seasonal items, cheap dog items as well as hair products and kitchen items. They even had gluten free pancake mix when I was there last! And for .99 at that. I was able to stock up on yogurt and cheeses too! Quick lines as well.
