Jewel Box Cafe

I love this place, definitely my favorite cafe in Seattle. Their food is amazing (CREPES! Sandwiches not so much), their zebra mocha (white & regular chocolate) is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. They've got really fun old antique wood furniture that gives it a very unique feel, and music is always playing. Service is fine, nothing to complain about, always in a good spirits, but sometimes it can take a while to get your order (not their fault, it can get pretty busy). The only drawbacks are it’s a little pricey, and parking can sometimes be difficult. Sometimes I’ll come in on my day off and spend an hour or so with my food and coffee and just enjoy one of the few places left where you can still just sit and relax with your neighbors.

I love Jewel Box Cafe! It's my go-to place for coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The cafe has a variety of drinks and snacks to choose from, and everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite is the mocha latte with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, paired with a croissant or a muffin. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Jewel Box Cafe to anyone looking for a great place to hang out, work, or meet friends.

I really enjoy going in here in the morning. Grab a cup of coffee and go usually but they have food too. It's low lit and has tasteful music. Staff is friendly too. Highly recommend.

Tastiest Crepes in Seattle (as far as I've found). Absolutely love the friendly service and tasty food/coffee, plus the vibes are mellow and Library-like (design, lots of warm wood, etc). Love it here!

I tried the House Special latte and I definitely recommend it. The crepe I got was also delicious. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Definitely worth a stop!

Easy to get to from the Northgate light rail station.
Great coffee, they use beans from Zoka Roasters. A little more expensive than chain coffee, but much better quality.

Great place to get bubble tea, lots of options for flavors and jellies. Savory and sweet crepes are super yummy. Sandwhichs come grilled, paninni style, deli style, or baguette. Stylin' decor and kid friendly. Good place to hit before a movie.

I came a week or two ago when family was in town and the baristas were nothing but amazing! Super kind and friendly staff and to make it even better the coffees tasted immaculate. If you have the opportunity to try here you won’t regret it!

My partner and I go here often. The drinks are delicious and the crepes are fantastic. My favorite thing by far though is actually their meatloaf baggett. They are popular and normally have a short line. I've had issues finding a seat before but I've never not found one.

Been a favorite spot since my college days. Love the coffee (especially the dirty vanilla chai) and both the sweet, savory, and breakfast crepes. Love the indoor and outdoor seating options and there is a cute green space in the back amidst the apartments that is a cute little walk. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Yum!! We got for savory ham crepe and a cup of fruit with Nutella. If you want to treat yourself for breakfast, this is the way to go.

Pretty tasty, they got the food out so fast it was wild. The quality is pretty good too. Price point is on the high end of medium but it’s great tasting

I come here frequently and love their coffee drinks, crepes (they have gluten free options!), and boba teas. Their portions are huge, so I always need to ask for a box to go. The coffee never tastes burnt. When something does happen, staff are super fast and responsive and so helpful. Everyone who works there are the best. Please go check this place out - it's such a neighborhood gem.

The Jewel Box is a nice place to go for a quick meal or a study session. I hadn’t been back for a few years but the quality is still high. The place is homey and has a lot of vintage furniture and mismatched tables. I ordered the same thing I’ve ordered before – the spicy sausage crepe. The crepe was soft and eggy. The sausage was meaty and salty and was balanced nicely with the tart and sweet mango salsa. The addition of spinach rounded out the dish nicely. My partner had the chicken and bacon crepe without the chicken. It was pretty good and the basil pesto went well with the crepe. The Jewel Box is a nice place to go for a relaxed meal in Northgate.

I have a friend who works here so sitting down and studying there with her was a real treat. The staff was so nice and the food was delicious.

It’s a pleasant and quaint spot, decent menu and kind service. Slightly pricier but the service and quality evens it out.

A great place for an afternoon snack or meal after a matinee at the Regal Cinema nearby. Breakfast served all day, sweet or savory crepes, a big espresso machine, and bubble tea done right: five bases including black, jasmine and a black tea sweetened with splenda (I think?) instead of sugar. Choice of adds includes lychee jelly, rainbow jelly, and mango or strawberry popping boba! The one I had (over ice) was great! We had the tuna melt and a salmon crepe. Not strong flavors, but just right for a fill-up while absently surfing the web. Lots of natural light, easy upbeat music and cheerful employees. Within walking distance of the mall and park-n-ride lot next door. Definitely coming back if I’m in the area.

Delicious cup of coffee! I could taste the coffee and it wasn’t too sweet! I’ll definitely be going back. It was so good I had to go back in to thank the barista for doing such a great job.

Came in with a friend who had recommended this to me earlier, was not disappointed! Some of the best crepes I’ve ever had and service was impeccable! Such kind staff and delicious food and drinks! If you find yourself in the Northgate area, check this one out you won’t regret it. (P.S. get the chicken bacon crepe and the strawberry boba! That’s what I got and it was so yummy…) 😋
