CVS

This place really feels like a small town pharmacy. I have three young kids and feel like I have to come in for one reason or other all the time. The clerks make an effort to learn/remember your names, the pharmacists are kind and helpful. Jim (didn’t catch your last name sorry!) was especially helpful! I needed a new pacifier for my baby but she needs a specific size/model and not every one carries it. With the Stay At Home order from the governor I didn’t want to come in to the store to look for it in case it wasn’t in. Jim answered my call, looked for the product, and even set it aside for me to come and pick up. Thank you!

This cvs is great! It has a very friendly, neighborhood, corner store kind of vibe. Its not like most of the other cvs's now, its old school. Most of its customers are local (from Kings Grant and Barton Run) so you will see a lot of the same people when you visit, I know a lot of the clerks by name and overall the store has a very friendly atmosphere.
Zack, Charlotte, Sean, Dora, Taylor, Brooke, Renee and Eric are all super helpful and I'm sure they will gladly help you also, if you choose to visit.

They have changed out a lot of team. Much improved service. Feels like a normal pharmacy experience now. Good job 👍

Almost every CVS in the world has a dull, over-sanitized atmosphere. This one is no different. It is rarely fully stocked, but will usually have what you need. The pharmacy techs are nice and helpful, and the self-checkout is convenient.

i’ve never used the pharmacy but the store side of it is usually not as issue and has a decent amount of stock

What can you say about CVS? They have the products you expect me to have and the staff is the staff.

This is my neighborhood pharmacy but they continually mess up my prescriptions. Sending me texts that it’s ready and when I get there it is not. It has happened many times and I’m tired of it. These big chains think that they can get away with poor performance! I need to switch!

Stay away from this pharmacy. If I could give negative ratings I would. Associates are rude and lack compassion. I was told that my order was back ordered when I walked into pick up my script and was also told that nobody else in the area had it. Called another cvs and it was filled later in the day. This will be my last time using cvs pharmacy.

I used them for years, their hours stink, some of them are rude, the 1 guy pharmacist was difficult to deal with and made me get a rejection letter from my insurance company every time for this one medication, even though i had a script from my dr, I knew it wasn’t covered and prepared to pay out of pocket ($150-200) because it was a brand name. When I complain, he tried to intimidate me, and threatened not to fill it at all. I had already run out, so I literally had a kiss his but to get him to fill my script. It was humiliating. Since then I’ve asked Doctors, other pharmacies, and they’ve never heard of a pharmacist doing what he did.
I switched to Rite Aid in Medford.
Hours are great, professional and that same medication that the CVS pharmacist was giving me a hard time about and letting me pay thousands of dollars a year out of pocket is fully covered at Rite Aid, I haven’t paid for it since.
It’s not that Rite Aid has different rules. It’s that they took the time to figure out a way to get it covered for me.
Plus, the Rite Aid is way newer, a lot bigger, has GNC products and its only a 2 minute drive from this one.

The Pharmacy is a joke. First they didn’t have a vaccine we needed because “our fridge broke 3 weeks ago and we haven’t restocked since then”. Then they couldn’t figure out how to order it for a good 15 minutes while we stood there. Finally, they told us to come in at a specific day and time and when we did, they said “we’re too busy to do it, we haven’t even checked in the shipment yet”. What’s the point of an appointment then?
