Academy Sports + Outdoors

Went and visited Academy sports today for the grand opening and I have to say the store was quite nice! Everything was so perfectly stacked in line, in order and everything was priced. There were quite a few people there but it was also the grand opening so it was expected. All of the employees were very friendly and asked if I needed any help finding anything and many employees were available for help if needed. Ended up scoring a 10x10 ft canopy for $29.99 and they they have some other Grand Opening deals too! They have one line for the checkout and they announce when the next cashier is available. Sherry was my cashier and she was very friendly. They have a promo right now that if you sign up for the credit card you get $15 off of your purchase. Very nice store and will be returning.

I like it but only a few employees to help you, but they were acknowledgable. But need a lot of work to be as good as Bass Pro Shop.

Cannot say enough about the customer service here. The place is huge with I'm sure has everything, but dont let it intimidate you. The greater is much more than that. More like help getter and comedian. Young Keone was very personal and help full side note as he was taking us where we needed to go saw an item on floor , picked it up and placed it back. This may seem like a small thing but pride in your work place is great to see. The item we looked at he noticed was priced different. Asked us to please wait got manager Sharita over she said no its priced this way, wasnt changed so I will give it to you at this price if you get it today, went home did some measurements came back. They had put it to correct price but gave us the Sales price. Keone and Andre cared out to our truck. Another side note as they had on dolly Mother had a box of another item in her hand and Keone asked if he could carry it for her. Great service great prices!

Went for the first time and got what I was looking for. Very nice place. The cashier was very nice.

First time there.....nice store, plenty of merchandise, but not many staff. Although, the staff were all very pleasant.

The employees are all nice and they will take the time to talk to you about a product and tell you about it/ or tell you where it is located

Wet to get a trail camera. The staff were very helpful on what would work for us.

It's really nice and the prices are even better. Their merchandise is pretty affordable.

Haven't even been here yet, I'm going right after I write this review. I just wanted to be the first review. If I had to guess it's the typical academy experience.
