Actually, it was great!
The better half was looking for dress shoes for a wedding and when we entered, wham, two rows of dress shoes, each row 30 yards long. ( She found them)
So, while she was doing that I was killing time in the clearance section and I found a pair for me, $30 dollars off, and purchased them!!
Total success...

I had a great experience today with an associate at checkout and the assistant manager on duty. I had two online returns to make from products that were sent to me in error. They were able to get the returns processed for me and get my credit that was promised when I spoke to customer service over the phone previously. Great in-store customer service!

Really good selection of different shoes.

There are lots of sweet choices for all of your shoe needs. Significantly more choices for kids and ladies, than men, but there are enough for dudes. The staff was super helpful, and friendly. Plus, they didn't hover. You should shop for shoes here.

I got some great deals today! I went out with my new shoes on and got a compliment from a complete stranger the first time I wore them. I love the rewards program. I actually got three pairs of shoes for 33 dollars!

On July 23 my husband and I visited the DSW store in Peoria. The sales gal Sydni was wonderful. I explained to her my needs and she assisted me with shoe choices. She brought me many brands that would fill my required need. She listened carefully to what I had to say and made adjustments to the selection. She also carried the shoes to me to try on and I didn’t have to leave my spot and follow her. After I made my shoe choices, I asked her questions regarding sock footsie. Again, she knew the inventory and was very helpful with me making my selections.

I later looked for my husband and he was with another female salesperson, Chris, and while I was telling my husband about Sydni, he was telling me how helpful Chris was to him. Chris was a supervisor.

I informed both Sydni and Chris how much we appreciated their service and promised I would write their manager to let him/her know what a great experience we both had.

Good customer service. Always have promos to help customers get more savings. I bought shoes through the app and it arrived early and safely. Also dsw gives free stuff like tote bags or blankets for dsw rewards members. The great thing is the membership on dsw rewards program is FREE.

Huge selection and if they don't have it in stock they can order it and have it shipped to your house. Most places have these things but there are two reasons I give this place 5 stars. The first reason is the very friendly staff, seriously if you all are that nice every day then I envy your energy and outlook on life. The second reason is the bullboxer line of shoes that I think are a DSW exclusive. Man... those Bullboxers look good!

Very surprised at their selection. I always assumed this was exclusively a high end shoe place, but they have a huge variety and prices are pretty good. Staff was really helpful.

All the sales ladies showed how great DSW is. Friendly and helpful and helped me order crocs for delivery to my home. It was nice shopping there and will visit again soon.

That's where I always find the best shoes, staff are nice and the place kept well maintained. I go to DSW in every city I visit this location was one of the best. Highly recommend it.

I'm not usually a clothing kind of guy, but the selection and quality at DSW are epic! By far and away my favorite shoe place in Peoria, and one of my favorite places to shop in the Peoria area.
