Savannah Bee Company

My first visit to the Savannah Bee Company was while I was at the Fall for Greenville festival. It’s a nice and interesting place to visit. The people working are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have any and everything you can imagine to do with “the bee” and honey. They also have Tupelo Honey. Many different kinds of honey and honey products. Chap sticks, raw honey combs, bakery items, frozen treats, lotions, drinks and tee shirts just to name a few of the things they have. My niece treated me to a cold drink of limeade sweetened with honey. The drink wasn’t overly sweet and it was so refreshing. There’s a mead bar, a coffee bar with baked goods and several places to sample some of their products. The Tupelo honey with cheese and a raspberry was tasty too. Savannah Bee Company is a nice place to visit and spend some time. I plan on visiting again real soon.

This store has a tremendous selection of honey and honey related products. They offer samples and we quickly found our favorite, the Tupelo. They also have a mead which is made from honey. We tried the crisp apple and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Cool store to swing by and support a company and the pollinators out there. Lots to taste and smell. The candles smell awesome. Customer service was polite and friendly. The decor is inviting to you when walking in, super clean and well organized. Customer service is quick to answer and very knowledgeable.

Came in with my fiancé to try some mead for the first time and Rhed helped us out so much! They were very knowledgeable about what they were giving us and we had such a lovely conversation while tasting! A great time all around!!

Stopped in here to look around at the merchandise and grab a coffee. It was not busy when I went in and I thought the coffee station was closed. The staff member said it was open and went and took my order and made my drink. I had a latte and it tasted good. Prices were fair compared to other downtown location coffee shops.

It was an amazing experience trying all the Meads they had to offer! The staff member Emily was so knowledgeable and friendly which made the whole experience even better. Thank you!

Rhed was amazing behind the bar. Listening to them and their knowledge truly brought a new love to mead and my experience. Store was well kept, cozy and had so many options. I’ve come here for years and will continue! Thank you, Rhed!

The staff is very personable and professional. They invite you in with a genuine smile and answered all my questions. If ever in the area I highly recommend you to stop in and taste test the different types of honey. Who would have thought that honey would have different flavors. My favorite is sourwood honey.

What an awesome shop. My partner is an avid honey enjoyer, so we have tried a few of SBC's honey varieties. Not only do they have tons of honey, they have other bee related products (beeswax and pollen), books, and apparel. Free honey tastings so you can find the perfect bottle. ALSO a bar for coffee, tea, treats, and mead! Wooo!

This place was wonderful! I had a great time and there’s a good selection of items here. A good environment and the staff were all very kind.

One of my favorite shops to visit in downtown Greenville, the Savannah Bee Company is a one-stop honey shop. They stock dozens of honey flavors (from palmetto to lavender--based on what the bees harvested from) as well as honeycomb and other honey-related essentials. Flavor descriptors on the jars help you determine which honeys might suit your preferences. Best of all: You can try samples to find that perfect honey flavor for you! (I love pouring a bit into my green tea in the afternoon.)

When I last visited, I had the option of "adopting a bee" for a dollar, with proceeds going toward the cultivation of bees and educational outreach. Don't forget to end your visit with a donation to a worthy cause!

If you love honey, this is the place for you! I was amazed by the different types of honey and products they had! I was actually there to buy the honeycomb honey I got to try as part of a dessert at the Lazy Goat restaurant and had to have more of it! As soon as i got home, I opened it up and savored it! Definitely worth it!

Dropped in and did a mead tasting with Christelle. It was a great experience to learn about mead and a perfect way to fill time.

A place you can purchase honeycomb, taste different honey flavors, and enjoy a mead tasting all inside the shop. They sometimes have a local artisan they support by setting up inside their store. Their honey sticks are requested often by my LO.

My new favorite shop on main street! Go check out the mead bar inside. Great products and will be buying all my gifts here.

The store and ambiance is welcoming and cute but what prompted me to write a review is their coffee. Hands down one of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted especially the chocolate/mocha flavored coffee.

This place is awesome! The staff was super friendly and helpful. My husband and his friend did a mead tasting while I shopped around. There are samples available for everything from wonderfully smelling hand soap to delicious bbq sauce and several honeys in between. This is a great place to pick up some stocking stuffers before the holidays!

Various honey and mead products, which you can sample before buying! Great jar designs - that you can purchase a non-drip pump spout with. No more mess!

The staff was so friendly and accommodating, allowing us to look at our leisure and sample items before deciding on our purchases. We will definitely return.
