La Plaza Market

Amazing little market! They have a wonderful range of products. Both American and Hispanic foods, Spices, fresh produce an covenant store items. Extremely nice staff. Plus a great Hispanic restaurant conveniently attached threw a small hallway. That serves some of the best Authentic Mexican food if not the best in Independence that I have had! I'm go there 3 to 5 times a week for one thing or another. Most all there prices just can't be beat either.

Hi, I only ever order the tacos at the café which are excellent in my opinion, better than any Mexican restaurant in this area. And the chips and sauce are great as well! The market is a very
cool little store, all kinds of stuff nobody else has! And also I am still a smoker at the time, trying to quit but when I do want cigarette's, they still have some of the lowest prices in the area. So overall market and restraunt very good. Oh and I also recently tried the tamales, very good! I ordered the pork ones!!

One of the few places I’ll go for Hispanic food. The tacos are amazing, and the staff is really great. I’ve bought a few things from the store attached to it, and there’s a nice variety of things there I can’t get anywhere else.

Great neighborhood market. Don't be fooled by the size, they have a large selection here. I always come here for corn husks and lard. Wonderful bread too. Nice staff.

Never had a bad meal here. Very home cooked flavors. Tamales are wonderful.

Love this place... They have great calo and menudo. Salsa is good... they make great home made corn tortilla.

Burgers are good but tacos overpriced overall i say 5 for authentic Mexican food

Alittle over priced on some stuff but over all very nice people own it and run it. I go thier almost every day.
