Frodo Joe's Petit Cafe

Loved the vegetarian options. The spicy veggie crepe is my favourite and it does have a nice spice kick from the pesto. All the crepes have a good amount of veggies stuffed in them. The veggie sandwich was good but is cold which I'm not a fan of. The walnut apple cheesecake crepe was nice but I'd prefer more cheesecake in it (predominantly had walnuts and cut apple). Highly recommend pasta as a side since it was pretty good. The portion sizes are a little small so I ended up with 3 crepes for 2.

What a treat after an hour of PT! Delicious savory crepes with side salads were perfect for our meal. The Fresh Strawberries & Nutella crepe was a perfect dessert. Service was friendly and food was just very good! We will return...soon!

Went Sunday morning, there were tables open, were seated promptly. Took a few minutes and ordered with the waitress, coffee arrived a minute later, followed by the food, just a couple of minutes later. Food was good, staff looked busy, there was a steady stream of people coming in. By the time we finished and left, there was a waiting list. Decent atmosphere, there appears to be an outdoor dining area, but it was a bit cool for us to sit outside.

Frodo Joe's is a must-visit if you enjoy crepes. I stopped by for breakfast and the entire experience was top notch.

As I sat down to browse the menu, the waitress brought over a carafe of cucumber, mint, and citrus infused water. It was a nice refreshing touch.

They have around 40 savory crepes and 15 dessert crepes on their menu. It looks like they could also be made gluten-free. Crepe was top tier. One of the best I've had anywhere in the world. Crepe itself was thin, crispy, and still tightly folded. No skimping on the fillers in my USA Crepe; it was stuffed full of meats (thick cut ham, turkey, salami, sausage), mushrooms, cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes.

Sometimes when you see 'premium' ingredients like sun-dried tomatoes  and roasted garlic mentioned, you might only get a few pieces scattered in. Not here! There was enough sun-dried tomatoes and the other fillers to balance out eat bite.

Frodo Joe's also serves up freshly made smoothies, made to order. My Berry Balanced Smoothie was blended smooth and not too sweet.

Ambience-wise, the cafe instrumentals playing in the background was relaxing and only interreupted occasionally by the blender. All of the service and kitchen staff were all really friendly, not just to customer, but also to each other. It seems like an upbeat, cordial work place, kudos on hiring the right staff.

I definitely will be back to try more of their crepes and smoothies. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place for crepes of all kinds and more. Lots of savory options and even gluten free of you want. Bacon so thin and delicate you can see through it. Loved our stop this Sunday morning. No wait!!

Best place in town for crepes both Savory and Sweet. La la loo loo is the favourite for me and my kid. Hot chocolate is a must try. Service and atmosphere is one of the best

One of the only places that has great sweet vegan crepes in Bay Area. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. A must try is the raspberry cheesecake!

P.S: I’m a local at crepevine and this place has more vegan options. Although crepevine has better ambiance.

Incredible. Definitely the kind of cafe I have been looking for. Service is kind and attentive. Food is sooooo tasty and come in promptly. Biiiiig portion. Reasonable pricing. Just a chill morning with some light jazz. ❤ laaaaaarge selection of healthy and yummy food. They also have dedicated vegetarian section.

I came in on a slow Monday afternoon and was seated and served right away. I had the turkey club which was refreshing and delicious. They made the unique choice to to use pulled apart, shredded turkey pieces rather than traditional sliced deli slices and it had just the right mix of mustard and mayo to balance the natural dryness of the turkey and all round it was a great experience at a reasonable price. The place gives off a classic diner vibe while still managing to be unique and modern with its decor and furniture. One small detail that I feel goes a long way is they brought a carafe of water to the table that had orange, lemon, and cucumber slices in it so even the free, complimentary water had its own standard to set it apart from most other diners. They also have a huge section of the menu dedicated to a variety of crepes that I am curious about but didn't order on my first visit. I will have to give one a try text time I'm in the area.

Delicious crepes. Ingredients seemed fresh. Generous serving size at reasonable price. Plenty of variety, savory and sweet. Welcoming staff. Nice ambience.

Great low key breakfast/brunch/lunch place with delicious food!!
Portion sizes were perfect for the prize and crepes were loaded with protein and vegetables. The food wasn't too salty at all, just how I like it. I highly recommend it if you're in Freemont downtown area.

Found out about this crepe place while I was driving nearby and stopped for a quick bite. Ordered Banana chocolate crepe, it was early morning with only few customers, service was quick and dessert crepe was awesome & crispy fresh. Next time have to try Savory crepe. I would highly recommend this place for Crepe lovers

Ohhh! I love the crepes here! This was the first time I had come here to eat. They have many styles of crepes for you to try.
Not only were the crepes amazing, but all the staff was also lovely too. The customer service was good. So, don't hesitate to try them if you're craving something sweet and delicious!

Ate outside on a sunny spring day. Had a savory crepe and a glass of cabernet. A great way to spend an afternoon. We stayed for over a few hours, it felt like we were back in France. No pressure to move on from the waitress. Ordered mixed berry crepe for desert. Wonderful. We will be back for more and bring friends.

I came here to meet up with a friend from church, it was my first time coming here and i loved it. After taking some time to look at their amazing menu..i decided to get the shrimp and bacon with zucchini and mozzarella cheese. As you can see in the picture the crepe was big and delicious. The shrimp was fresh, the bacon crisp and the zucchini went well with the food. My friend and myself met up early which was perfect and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Very clean establishment, delicious crepes! I like that they have sweet crepes but also savory ones. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very chill.

Great little spot. Casual location, upscale food. I got the house savory crepe. It was filling, but not heavy. Delicious with perfect portions. We will definitely be back!

This was a great unexpected finding. Were just looking for something affordable delicious and with reasonable portions.
I love drinks, specially juices and their large options are actually large, not like other places which offer large but give you a medium.
Definitely will come back!

So happy I found this little gem stone in Fremont! It is a deliciously quaint and homey brunch spot. The walls and decor could use some minor updating, like fresh paint and fixing some spots here and there, but I love the Indian motif. Service was fast and friendly, drinks and food were very good, I was impressed overall. I had a Mai Tai with the Classic crepe, I added bacon. They use real cran in their seafood crepes, which I was also very impressed with. They are moderately priced and defintely affordablr compared to other spots. I also tried the walnut apple cheescake crepe, which was absolutely tasty! Will go back and bring more ppl!

Celebrated a birthday with a decadent chocolate crepe I Berry and 2 savory ones along with lip smacking mango zing smoothie. Everything was fantastic! Quite kid friendly. Definitely worth stopping in this petit cafe.
