San Ramon Athan Downs

I know this park as a playground and a soccer field. It’s a lovely spot, well maintained . If parking lot is full, neighborhood streets are abundant. The playground is varied and my grandkids have loved going there for over 8 yrs.

Four baseball fields, four tennis courts, half a basketball court , volleyball ball court and four grass fields that get converted to soccer fields. Plenty of parking, large trees provide excellent shade throughout the park. And a modern playground make this one of San Ramon best parks

Fun place to spend time with children. I recently did a birthday party for my 6 yr old here. If you live in San Ramon it will cost you $105 to book a table on a given day from 8 am to 7 pm. You will hv to book for entire day even if party is only for few hours. Also book in advance specially if the party

Very well planned park except fir walking. Children can enjoy a lot . I visited this park with family many times .

Well maintained. Cushioned play area is terrific in that children can be more adventurous with parents' comfort of lesser injury. The sports field for older children is an added bonus. Unfoutunately, no zipline. Walking area and nearby tables are great. Unlike Boone Acres where tables are a distance from play area.

This is a very good park. Huge grass area to play and next to it you have picnic benches to sit and enjoy your food. Nice place to bring your pets as well. Children's play area is a bit away from benches, but you have nice place to sit around and watch your kids. Play area is very good.

Great location to rent picnic tables for a family gathering! Lots to do and ashtrays good weather.

Lots of playground features for big and little kids. Small sand area and a volleyball court with soft sand and shade trees right next to it. Huge grass fields for running and playing! Bathrooms available and lots of parking

Nice park with many options to rest and play!

Well maintained public park... playground area, tennis courts, meticulously cleaned toilets (there were also four '",porta-potties" on site today), plants, trees and turf obviously maintained by pros. Plenty of parking and wheelchair access ramps; as a security benefit the San Ramon PD cruises the area on an unscheduled basis.

Good park for family with 4yo boy. Not a big playground. However two huge fields for playing soccer or other activities.
Playground is well observed so you may enjoy healthy walk while child is spending energy 😉

Wonderfully designed playground accessible to all needs. If watching a sporting event in the summer, be sure to bring shade.

Me and My Family Love this Park!!! We Love it because we always throw our Annual Family Reunion BBQ at this park and we've doing since 2004. There is plenty of parking, it has a playground for the kids, basketball & tennis court, baseball field, a huge grassy area for soccer, bathrooms. The convenience of it being near the 680 freeway and close by a grocery store in case you need anything for your BBQ/picnic. This a very clean park, dog friendly.

Grew up going to this park. Its huge, several fields and tennis courts. Great to walk and play with your dog, assuming you follow the leash laws! Also, if you're dog likes tennis balls, you will always be able to find some near the tennis courts

I enjoy watching my kids play soccer, plenty of shade.

This park is maintained very professionally and my kids love to play and run around here. It has the best grass fields and very clean. Beautiful views of redwood trees outlining the park. Perfect for pictures.

We LOVE this park. So does everyone else! Pick off hours so there is room to social distance. Everyone we saw today had masks and even the kids knew to stay separated, but by the time we left around 11am on a Sunday it was hard to find a spot to play without being too close.
