Brooks True Value Hardware

Astounding service! My call to Tim at Brooks Hardware just now was worth its weight in gold as I Ponder the future of my beloved 20 year old Shindaiwa multi-tool trimmer weed eater. That thing is stronger than any weed eater I've ever used: it just completely demolishes blackberry vines-- dry or fresh growth it just chews them up into shreds. It's a great machine. well I was faced with having to rebuild the carburetor on this machine again. I've been hard on it. I've learned to troubleshoot these things and fixing it but getting the parts is always a problem. So many different choices out there online and it's good if you can take your time and if you're willing to wait for something and if you don't mind if it's not the right part and then you can simply order something new probably from Amazon or whomever have to wait a day or more to get it and then don't forget to return that other part because guess what? I have three new coils for that weed eater sitting in there in the garage useless to me because they're not the right part. I paid for them I should have taken them back but I never did get them back to the post office to send it back to Amazon so I ate the price on that. But as I say to him over there at the Brooks Hardware he did the research on the right part for me they have the carburetor rebuild kit for this machine it's kind of surprising because it's times I say it's 20 years old and you know they don't probably sell them very often but I'm sure thankful they have one and I'll be getting over there to pick it up great service willing to take the time with you a lot of patience there and knowledge all the way from the front desk back to the guy who's really detailed on ordering parts and such all right five go start to you folks and A+ and thank you so very much for helping us out.

I needed a trailer hitch ball replaced with smaller size. Three other stores wouldn't help. The young man working yesterday went above and beyond excellent customer service. I'll definitely shop here again. When I need higher priced items in the future I'll be driving out of my way to give my business to these great people.

We love our local Brooks Hardware. It's like going back in time to when businesses actually cared about their customers and there's always a helpful employee close by willing to help. They often have items that the big box stores don't have and will happily order almost anything for you that they might not stock. Prices here are often less than they are at Lowes and Home Depot. Highly recommend.

One of the most friendly hardware stores I have ever been to. From the moment I walked in the door, I got a cheerful, warm greeting from the lady at the front counter. I couldn't find what I was looking for and asked a younger red haired fella where it was and he pointed me right to it! I then realized they copied chipped car keys, and was in desperate need of one for my new truck (Used and only came with one) so my wife would have a key in case of an emergency and I was away with her car on an errand (Her car has better gas mileage lol) They saved me roughly 300$ and did it with class. They Key guy was a knowledgeable friendly Ace in his field. I highly recommend this True Value hardware store in particular. Most I have been too are just as good, but this one in particular sticks out in my mind. My wife and I appreciate you and your whole staff tremendously. Don't change a thing!

This is where you go when you want help. You're not going to get the "I'm sorry, this isn't my department." No, you'll get help, guidance and kindness.
Maybe you'll pay a buck or two more, but the quality of the consumer experience is worth far more than the money.

WOW, what a incredible shopping experience. This True Value is the place to get what ever it is you need. The Service Team is Fantastic. Everything that I need can be found in this True Value, and this Service Team, there Fantastic!. I love to shop in a store that has a focus on me and what I need. The atmosphere is one of a home town family working together to get things done. I just cannot say enough about how Fantastic the whole team is at this True Value.

Staffed with friendly workers, this hardware store is well stocked with many agricultural tools. It also offers custom jobs (machining, etc). The staff have helped me solve many problems.

Nuts and bolts by the pound. Saved me a fortune as compared with the other big name outlets. Great service too. Store is larger than it looks from outside, good selection. I drive from Salem, OR just to shop here.

Brooks True Value always goes out of their way to be helpful. They also have excellent deals on birdseed and lightbulbs.

Local business, old school hardware store, prices for nuts and bolts is a fraction of the big box stores. Should have gone here first, would've saved some money 😀
