Hometown Hobbies

It's a small store, but they have a nice collection of everything Magic the Gathering or Dungeons and Dragons (they do have other games, supplies, and card storage solutions)! Give it a try before you go to a big box store with a super limited selection. I love how local it feels inside!

Excellent place for mtg cards. Has a Friday night magic game in commander format. Has an entry fee bit the prizes more than make up for it.

Nice local game shop. Helpful and knowledgeable staff will answer any questions you have about pretty much any game. They host Friday Night Magic and Prelease events here (for those who aren't familiar, those are repeating events for Magic: The Gathering, a card game).

Please note that the evening hours are a little bit off as of this review (Jan 18, 2018) -- the shop usually closes around 11pm-ish on weeknights, not midnight.

Unlike the person who below i actually know what they sale. Its a hobby shop. They dont have a ton of merchandise because most of the product are cards. They are in boxes and binders behind the counter.
They also have a solid selection of board games and other gamer items, dice, deck boxes playmates and other asundry things.

The shop is also the only place in Huntington where players can gather for sanctioned magic the gathering and other collectible cards game events.

The environment has changed over the years and has become a far more welcoming place where the staff is more then willing to assist and educate anyone who walks through the door about the products they sell and events that are run.

Its a great place and a friendly competitive environment.

Next time if you want to come down ask anyone whats going on, virtually everyone will be more then happy to explain what the games we are playing are and how to play them.

Great place! Its the only game shop we have in town. Its a close knit community of people who go there but they're really kind!

Hometown Hobbies is a fun enjoyable environment with lots of nice and fun people. If you play Magic the Gathering I would recommend coming down to Hometown for a good time at FNM.

Best gaming place in town. Friendly service. If not in stock, will promptly order. The RPG game stop and play spot.

Was in town for an event so I decided to stop by, very nice prices on the stuff that I picked up.

Run by some ofvthe nicest guys you could ever sling cardboard with! I miss it!
