I will say that I can see how the Home Depot has changed, the majority of items are locked up. However, I do understand why; it’s due to the high amount of theft. But, I would like to say that I appreciate how friendly and how proactive an employee was during our visit. Denene provided us with AMAZING customer service! I appreciate how thorough she was explaining the process of changing out the cabinets and counter tops for our home. At this moment, my husband and I will be placing that project on hold, but I did want to recognize the amazing job she did, with being super patient with us and answering our questions. Thank you so much! ☺

In and out fast. Not busy. Self-pay was very easy. Everything‘s in the right place. You can find almost everything that you need for your garden, all for your home or are you want to build something. If you need anything that you couldn’t find, you can ask Home Depot staff. They could help you. I like to come to Home Depot every time I find new things. And they have wonderful customer service—significant policies for an exchange or return.

Decent place with friendly staffs. They have everything that you basically need under home appliance. The price here are competitive. Huge parking space is a plus point here. They have one of the biggest nursery here where you can buy plants and flowers also veggies. Overall they deserve 5 star for their products and services. 😍😍

19th January I visited El Cerrito store - puzzled and lost in big isles. I found very friendly helpers- Dorian from front desk and Norman from electrical department . It was so sweet and nice communication! They not just give me reasonable advice, but make my day ( evening) boys thank you!! Helena

Janette was super helpful and had exceptional customer service. She went out of her way to help us. We greatly appreciate it. Ny was also helpful and had great customer service. This store has some of the best employees!

Good store. Very clean and organized. Parking can get a little tight during the busy times of the day but a pretty large lot for the bay area. Employees are polite and professional. Well stocked.

This store seems to have a bad reputation. I think that if you are fortunate enough to run into an associate that takes pride in their customer service, such as Angel in the pro dept, or Michelle in blinds,or the paint dept team, Gary, Marcel, Karina and the others then I would bet dollars to donut holes that you had a very nice shopping experience.

Pulled up on them late night looking for some plumbing supplies and I ran into a very helpful Asian Brother who walked me 2 every thing I requested ! He was very pleasant and had a great vibe !!!! And L.P. "loss prevention " wasn't racially profiling@!

That was great place to buy any thing about engineering or made your house batter and helpful worker is nice worker and cashiers and everything is really great 😊

Angel was the person that helped me today. She's AWESOME!!!! she really knows her stuff. If you come to this location be sure to ask for her she will be sure you get everything you need as well as make sure you have what you need that goes with what your purchasing . Great service Angel.

I was surprised by the customer service at this “Home Depot” store, EXCELLENT! I shopped there not only once but 2, 3, 4 and 5 times already within a week because of the people who work there. I can name them all, Daniel and Tevi at Carpet Department, Javier who helped me to load the grass, Laura at the Doors (she knows what she is doing, I mean you’d hope everyone who works at Home Depot would be that knowledgeable right?! though we really can’t except that either but she was beyond friendly and thoughtful) and there is that guy (didn’t get his name, sorry) at the Paint, he was down to earth, easy to talk to and honest guy. I usually/easily get lost because The Home Depot is a huge and it has just about everything. Sometimes I go there without even knowing what it is that I need (betcha majority of their customers are like me). Finding exports is a blessing but it can also be frustrating if no one is there for you to get help/assistant. So far, my brother, sis in-law and I are very pleased and happy to shop at this store. We are hooked, so thank you guys, YOU ROCK!

They're great!. They made a gallon of this old 5 gallon green that i brought in.

Associate Iris went above and beyond processing my online order pickup: not only did she help me load my quite heavy order (20 bags of pebbles), but she helped me push the cart to the store exit, waited for me to bring my car to the loading area, and helped me load my order to my car! 5/5, excellent service!

This is a great location with ample parking. The store is well stocked with quality products. The staff is friendly and professional. Shout out to Alfredo who went the extra mile to answer all my questions and directed me to the correct department for the materials needed to complete my project. He was polite, knowledgeable and informative.

While I always buy at my local hardware store when I can because I like them and like having the maximum choices available, there is a lot to be said for huge parking lots and heavy duty carts when you need to buy an industrial strength shelving unit or two that weigh 86 lbs apiece and the only time you have available is after everything else in the day is done at, say, 9:30 PM. I find myself wandering the rows and frequently picking out yet another of their extremely high-value-for-the-money tool bags to organize just about everything portable since the days of being able to leave really anything in one's car are probably gone forever in urban California. Great selection of both hand and power tools if you need to feel it in your hand or at least see it in the packaging before buying, and HD has totally mastered the integration of combined web and in-store marketing. Alas, I find I might have to visit different stores to get the exact tool I want or fall back upon on-line ordering due to the sad realities of loss prevention in the here-and-now, but I can do that and I do like having the right tools. You would be surprised at the high level of expertise you can commonly find among the staff of any store if you just ask. The deep stock allows me to find, for instance, the correctly rated circuit breakers I need to maintain listed code ratings, a really nice yet affordable stainless steel sink fixture to replace one that is corroding out, and I can find out how to navigate the replacement screen door availability choices or how to ask for a cut-to-fit set of blinds (note: the selection means you can also buy a nice but really inexpensive sink fixture that will corrode out if you like). When I encountered a mess of a sink trap that someone tried to solve with a mile of Teflon tape and I didn't even know what I needed, a staff member laid it out for me, marched me over a row, and two minutes later I had in my hands the adapter that went from this thing to that thing just the way it was originally intended. Not every associate might be as expert as that, but there is something about the staff both individually and collectively that I like. Despite the vastness I don't find the stores daunting. Finally, I almost hesitate to mention that they always have clean, working bathrooms in this day and age - how great is that?
