Lowe's Home Improvement

I frequent this store a lot. They sell way more products for RV owners than Home Depot. Plus they are cheaper. The air conditioning works in the store and for some reason I can always find things. There are overstock and miscellaneous items marked down in the back and their garden area has better plants. The only issue is you should always get a paper receipt. Once I was charged double and couldn’t prove it. It was reversed by my bank. The other time I had a return and couldn’t find the electronic one which I found had gone to a spam filter. Regardless of these frustrations, i’m giving them a five star review which shows how much I like the store. With the colors of paint they sell, and the products I used for the inside of my trailer, it’s perfect now. I found all the wood trim I needed and the stain as well. I even bought a spare tire here! Perfect place to shop inexpensively if you are working on an RV, not just a house.

Going to Lowe's tonight was a great experience. I was going to buy a GE Profile fridge so I went to home Depot which is a lot closer to me but my experience there was terrible The guy that was there in their fridge section was totally rude no matter what I asked he kept saying I can't answer that and at the end told me to go elsewhere to another vendor to purchase the fridge and just turned around and walked away I couldn't believe it so I went to this Lowe's and there was Alexandra in the fridge section super nice and friendly and answered all my questions and I bought my GE fridge there happy with the purchase and my experience there thank you so much Alexandra. I highly recommend this Lowe's.

I love this place. Their service is top notch. Although I didn't get what I was looking for, my son was given a miniature kit for his diy project. I love the staff. They are friendly and helpful. I am definitely coming back.

Had the best customer service experience with David, he remembered me from my first visit when I visited the first time buying an EGO leaf blower and helped me all the way from start to finish purchasing my very first lawn mower for me and my wife for our first home! He was very honest and gave insightful advice, and he knew the products, the inventory and shipping and lead times, and the operations of the store very well. I have nothing but praise and respect from his help and cannot thank him enough!

Rigid Carpentry LLC is buying most of the fencing and decking materials from Lowe’s, good quality and best staff service, I will always shop at Lowe’s.

Went in looking for a fridge since mine went out. I was not finding what I was looking for. That’s when Paul D. Anderson asked me if I needed help. He took the time to help me find what would fit with the measurements I brought. Ended up leaving with a new fridge and a happy customer. Look up Paul if you are ever in the appliance section at the 72nd Avenue Lowe’s.

Today I found a special lightbulb on Lowe's website so I drove out there to buy it. It was not on the shelf. Employee Robert tried to find it for me and spent considerable time and physical effort to locate the stock. Many people in customer service would've looked for just a few minutes then apologized for not having it and walked away. Not Robert at Lowe's. He was determined, and very diligent. And he was successful! I was elated, after having been disappointed at 2 other stores that showed they had it in stock but when I got to their stores they simply said they didn't have it if it was not on the shelf. Lowe's came through and made my day... thank you, Robert. 👍 You really earn your keep! 😊

We've been shopping here for stuff for my mom's new apartment. She's been getting plants and tarps etc. It's I think a lot better than Home Depot.

Tony went out of his way to give us the best service we have ever had at Lowe's this guy was on it he made me never want to go to home Depot Ever again and will drive from keizer to this location...

These are great people. When I needed help finding something I was helped above my expectations. I had to go to the store a few times because after getting what I needed to complete my project and getting home I found that what I wanted wouldn't work the way I thought. I returned what I had bought with no problem. Then was helped with suggestions and shown what the employee was talking about until we found exactly what I needed. All in all a great experience with these guys.

I would rather go to Lowe’s vs Home depot. I find things better price and more selection. Go to the Lowe’s in Clackamas vs Beaverton.
I needed a cheap temporary floor and this only cost $100. For everything. It looks better than what I expected. This is stick on tiles.

First I visited the website. Confirm there are items that I needed. Drove over, went to the appropriate aisle, found exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Lowe's for being there for me in my time of need. These TVs aren't going to mount themselves with a short drill bit. Today you are the MVP.

This is my go-to home improvement store in the Portland area. Over the last 5-6 years, some of their staff have been most helpful to me. I usually find the prices, variety of products, and product availability to be right for my needs. The location of this store could hardly be better, near 2 freeways, and NOT on a busy street. More than adequate parking, and with a super convenient entrance for loading up large items such as lumber. I have started to beef up my tool box with some better quality tools, and I'm quite happy with recent purchases, especially non-powered tools, for example, combining Craftsman and Kobalt to come up with a robust but compact deep socket ratchet solution. I am glad now that they have brought back cleaning vinegar after a nearly 2 year spell of not carrying it in stores, but... it's not always in stock!

[Update 9/1/2022] It's still hard to come by the cleaning vinegar, but other than that, I generally find what I need here in order to maintain a fair number of properties.

[Update 6/28/2023] Great staff... friendly, welcoming, helpful, generally very available. During the day time hours, they have the most staff on hand, and that is when it is the easiest to get help.

[Update 11/27/2023] Even with Christmas goods filling the aisles, I'm still finding everything I need for daily work.

[Update 2/14/2023] It's handy to have a store like this one where I know the departmental layout fairly well. I came in last night with only 5 minutes before closing, found the dimmer switch I needed, and paid for it in time. On top of that, the checkout clerk handed me my glove that I had dropped back in the lighting aisle. Crisis averted. Kudos!!

I went looking for front wheels for my riding lawn mower and found them! Lowe's may not be the biggest hardware store, but they do have the hard to find items, a lot like Ace Hardware. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the garden center is fantastic.

Just want to give a shout-out to Tom Fritts, sales specialist, who
helped us purchase a new stove. So knowledgeable and helpful
in many ways. And then when we came to the store to pick it
up, it was Tom who delivered it to our car and wrestled the huge
box into the limited space. Always so pleasant----a real asset

Great experience here at this store. Daniel an employee there help my girlfriend and I through every department we needed for our home. He was very patient and helped us understand everything we needed for our projects. Definitely will visit this store again. Clean floors and bathrooms which is located in the back of the store.

Buying a new dishwasher and scheduling the install was a delightful experience with AJ and the appliance team! The selection at Lowe's was excellent, appliances were in stock and they were able to schedule the install (including removal of old appliance) within a 3 day window. Everyone on the team was delightful to work with. Pricing for the service was significantly less than another appliance provider. Thanks Lowe's!

David and Nancy, David appeared out of nowhere and told me that he could save me 20% and that's it, he took me to Nancy, and everything went as he told me, excellent people and an example of customer service helped me a lot.
