AKA Salvage And Designs

My absolute go to store for any niche or eclectic items I might be looking for. I love how the owners truly remember you and try to help you find whatever you may be looking for. A few months ago I was looking for a very specific gift for my boyfriends birthday, A Canon AE-1 Program film camera (The same model I have and love.) If you are familiar with film cameras, you're aware of how difficult these are to find because of how quickly people scoop them up. I started looking in as many antique stores as I could all over the state of Florida and as I was running out of time. I decided to stop into AKA again since I had informed them of what I was looking for a few weeks prior. I went in and they brought out a box filled to the brim with old film cameras, Remembering that I had asked for cameras a few visits before this. Right in the center was exactly the camera I was looking for! It was in pretty decent shape but obviously had signs of age (and some dust) so we were unsure if the camera actually worked. They gave me an incredible price on it because of the uncertainty that it worked, which was so helpful because it allowed for me to buy much needed accessories and film. I took it home, cleaned it up, stuck a battery in it, and took a few test shots on a cheaper roll of film. The results were incredible and the camera worked perfectly. I ended up being able to give the gift to my boyfriend on his birthday, which he absolutely loved. I now get to share my love for film photography and watch his love for film photography grow, Which is a priceless gift in itself. I am so grateful to the owners of this store for all of their help. Definitely stop in if you get a chance, You won't regret it. (Attached are some pictures that have been taken on the camera)

We stopped in yesterday and didn't have much time but had a look around. Was full of really neat stuff. Cannot wait to go back our next trip. Saw some amazing lamps that might be too tall. Will measure when we get home. But I can already see them in our house 👍🏻💯🧔🏻♥

Really nice dude, good sense of humor, and good prices i bought a TOY car and he told me that it was a model of a 1931 car that also had a radio inside, which was cool!

Excellent find...owners are super nice and very helpful. They definitely go out of their way for their customers. They have so many cool things in this store, it brings back memories from your childhood and years beyond. They are very organized with each section, even alphabetizing the many records they have! So glad I found this little gem!

Just left this incredible shop with owners Larry and Ray - two of the best dealers I have EVER had the pleasure to meet, and at 64 years old I have been around the block on antiquing. There was SO much to choose from, and the duo discounted nearly everything we selected. When I returned home I immediately pulled up their website and watched several hilarious and informative videos (a broom maker??!). This will be on my must-visit list whenever I am in Florida. Drop what you are doing and go over and see these guys.....absolutely no regrets!

One of the best antiques and vintage shops we've ever been to. Everything nicely merchandised in categories or sections, so for example, everything military, or Disney, or industrial, or floral, is all displayed together which makes it very easy for collectors to shop or be inspired with decor ideas. Huge amount of inventory spread over several small buildings. Great prices. And best of all, the owners were friendly and knowledgeable and gave us information about other shops in the area. This is a wonderful store and a must see if you love vintage!

Friendly people and neat shop. Music selection (lots of albums) is wonderful and organized. Little bit of everything and they do some custom items as well.

They are very nice and easy to do business with. They have a lot of great stuff, I could easily get in trouble buying everything i love there.

Some cool stuff here if your thrifting or resales,or just want something old they have a lot of record albums antique car stuff check it out.
