Love's Travel Stop

On January 31st of 2024 I began my last long road Chinook adventure in my Destiny with my two dogs. It will be quick and mostly uneventful. But I will make it as entertaining for everyone as I possibly can.

My first overnight stop was at this Love’s truck stop. Like most Love’s this one was clean and the employees were kind. I purchased some Cb radio equipment to make my trip more interesting. I stayed in the parking lot overnight because I came in really late from a late start and I needed the time to install my equipment. Thankfully I wasn’t run off.

For a tourist driving back from Arizona Grand Canyon to Las Vegas, this place is great. Clean toilets, wide variety of snacks and drinks, and fast petrol pumping. Great mid point pitstop, to keep our crew going all the way back to Las Vegas.

I won’t go into the gory details but, suffice it to say, that we broke down on the side of the road at 10:30 AM 83 miles from this Love’s Truck Stop, but the tow truck did not pick us up until 9:30 PM (I’ll be leaving a separate comment on that situation). We did not get to Love’s until 1:00 AM! The first person to greet us at the repair facility was Dustin. He could not have been nicer! He was informative and explained everything that was going to happen. He looked at our problem and explained that, unfortunately, there was nothing he could do to solve our specific problem at 1:00 in the morning so it would have to wait his boss and another tech arrived at around 7:00 AM. He made sure we were safe and settled, and then wrote a detailed report to his boss and tech to review! In the morning I met with Kelby! He was actually nicer than Dustin (sorry Dustin!). He also explained what was the best way to solve our issue and promised that they would take care of us. Enter Tyler! Tyler is a young guy (not sure if he shaves yet) but talk about knowledge beyond his years! He went above and beyond the call of duty, which called for him to crawl under our unit 4 different times to make sure everything was fixed! I would have never guessed that people working in a Love’s repair facility were friendly, helpful, experienced, and honest (emphasis on honest) but these three are! They are wonderful representatives of the Love’s organization! We are completely satisfied and give Dustin, Kelby, and Tyler 6 out of 5 Stars!!!!

Fueling depot for vehicle & humans. Cash & credit cards accepted. Restrooms are iffy but serviceable.

If you're heading back to Phoenix from Vegas and coming down the 93, skip all the gas stations through the 35 MPH bottleneck before the I40E onramp and jump on the I40E and head just a few miles out of Kingman to this Love's. Far cheaper gas prices (nearly a dollar less per gallon on a recent visit!)

Inside there's a Subway that is clean and efficient along with a Fried Chicken place. Love's has plenty of options for soda fountain & coffee drinks plus plenty of snacks, candy, chips, and bottled and canned sodas, juices and other beverages.

Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. My appreciation to the management for allowing me to stay two nights in my car. I felt safe sleeping overnight in the parking lot, because there is lots traffic at this rest area.

We came here for a 10 hour break on the truck and found a great parking spot. With all the vehicles outside this looks to be a hopping place.

The store looks very clean. There was a lady cleaning the women's restroom but there were lines of women coming in and out that I'm sure it was hard for her to keep up.

We grabbed some snacks, the clerk was funny and very friendly. I would definitely come here again.

Have to give this location a 5 star and I tey my best to give an accurate review for the next person. So to start there is a lot of hard workers here. Showers get knocked out lines get cleared and best of all there tacos are actually very big. Huge problem for me is that many locations give u this tiny taco for that much money? These here perfect I'm telling you. Thanks for keeping us moving

Good Love’s location that wasn’t too busy this visit. Got my 10 cents discount and got in and out quickly after using a clean restroom. Happy!

Karen provided fast, friendly customer service - an experience synonymous with most Loves experiences throughout the United States! Yes, they have the “good” crunch ice. Our visit found us in this location during a brutal heat wave. They had staged a swamp cooler in each of the bathrooms - it was cool, clean, and fully stocked in each bathroom. So wonderful!

Always on the lookout for loves when I am traveling. They sometimes have better prices than Costco and no member is required!

This five star is for the lady in subway (Liya). I had a nightmare in the service shop with mechanics but the customer service in subway was phenomenal. She was super friendly and professional.

We stop here often on our travels between Phoenix and Vegas. Clean bathrooms and good prices on fuel.

The shop here was awesome.
Ryan got me fixed up fast and had me going.
Sadly, I ended up with a mechanical before leaving, but this shop was able to get me a new air tank for my trailer and get it all done within about 5 hours.... actual work was only about an hour, but the part had to come up from Phoenix.!!!
They cared and made sure to get me back on the road as fast as possible...
TA would have taken a few days....
Hats off to this group of folks here in the shop!

Really cheap gas especially if you are used to paying California prices. Very clean and large restrooms so no waiting even if it is crowded. They even installed a temporary air conditioner because they regular one was down. The line at the pump can get long so your best bet is to find a line in the same direction and just wait. The only criticism is the check out line inside was a bit long and they only had one guy behind the counter.

All staff friendly except one. People, please put your trash in the cans!! Small dog park. Cows come to visit sometimes. You get a discount on gas if you have their app. Free tap water. Love the fresh Chef Salad and don't forget your dressing.

Even though the fuel island is laid out tight for a 8 axle plus. But if you can get the shop to keep the lane clear around pumps to exit. clean and well maintained. And the sitting on pumps need to be addressed especially if you want another million drivers on the road. Great store.

My best friend and I were on a trip and our car broke down over here at the loves gas station. Thankfully the people here are super friendly and helped us out to figure out what’s wrong with it. Martin and Jason were very helpful on trying to help us get the car started and offered to let us keep the car overnight so we can get it fixed in the morning. I’m very grateful for them to help us because we were stuck for almost 7 hours. Many nice people and would recommend stopping by here.

Awesome place to stop..clean bathrooms, this stop is like 7 eleven had a baby with best buy and out came loves....I loves it!

Loved it ! Carmen from Subway is amazing, divided our footlong by what each of us wanted. Definitely coming again !
