Speedway

This Speedway saw some dark times but is on the rebound. They have new management and are working to improve. There is more buzz in the morning and with the other gas station north of them driving up prices, Speedway deserves to be on the list of morning stops. If you see something amiss, just point it out. Not everything is perfect yet as there are still some potholes in the parking lot to watch out for but there is a lot of effort going in to turn things around.

I have been working with this store and working hard everyday to better improvements to the lack of product on shelves to better serve our customers. It's with great pleasure to have a part of keeping the doors open for business. And everyday I am so proud of the new hired They have really been doing an amazing thing and turning it into an amazing work place.

Need to update website. It has said they are open 24 hours for over 2 YEARS. How do people look online and see your store is open 24 hours and when they get there it's closed? Have someone, anyone, update your website. 2 years. Hasn't been open 24 hours in 2 years.

Watch your receipt. Prices ring up higher at the register than the price on the shelf. No apologies or correction; just a rude reply from the GM.

Nice place. Clean. Ok prices. Always friendly staff.

Meh — average, at best.

It's OK. Average gas prices. Average food prices for a gas station. Staff is usually low quality. This place is NOT open 24/7. I usually avoid this place in favor of the 5 or so other places around it.

Perfect Location and Friendly Staff but REALLY Needs Work
They are in a prime location on Rice Creek PKWY and HWY J, and the staff has always been over-the-top friendly but the store is really run down and I think they're having trouble staffing it as it's intermittently closed in the middle of the morning. I like to stop there and get a good, cheap cup of black coffee and a breakfast burrito on my way to the office around the corner. However, frequently, the burritos are all gone and/or the store is closed. Also the potholes in the parking lot will claim your alignment without notice.

Two times in one week I have stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat. Both times there wasn't any pizza ready to go and none in the oven either. Roller grill empty and one soggy burrito in the warmer. Microwave is broken as well, so can't even heat anything up. Employees are usually too focused on their phones to pay attention to what needs to be done. Not a very convenient store.

OK to stop for gas; DO NOT GO INSIDE: Dirty, dimly lit store and Cashier is on their phone on speaker taking personal calls. Came in to use the ATM and bought a beverage and candy but Won't be coming back again. You'd be better off driving down the road to Kwik Trip. Hot food is old and dried out. No quality experiences to be had.

Of all the gas stations I have been to in my life this one is the worst ! There is usually one person working inside or so it appears. The old gal that's working there in the morning and afternoon has some pretty lousy bed side manners. Alot of people go in there on there lunch break and Molasses moves faster than her. Not to mention her little chatty sessions with someone she might know while the line behind me keeps getting longer. I will never go back there and I work one block away. Speedway is a joke no matter which one you go to. So disappointing !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Partner filled up gas here six weeks ago. The next day, we went grocery shopping and when we came out, his car wouldn't start at all. The certified technician we brought it to claimed that the fuel pump went out due to high deposits in the gas he purchased from THIS speedway. Just got word today that they believe their gas isn't faulty, even though the technician says it is a product of bad gas. Over $1200 in repairs and the company is adamant it isn't their fault. We'll never go to a Speedway again.

The arrogant broad working here had a handwritten note on the counter today stating to please be patient, I am working alone. That's fine. But as I stood at the counter for 2 minutes while she ignored me while texting, I realized she's being lazy and arrogant, she was purposefully exhibiting bad customer service because she was mad she had to work alone.
That kind of behavior embarrasses the customer and they usually don't come back.

The cashier named Sarah and the GM Michael are both very rude and unprofessional. I will never be returning to this gas station. Which is unfortunate because I use to stop there often and never had such a problem. But I DO NOT feel comfortable EVER going back now.

Bought expired Hostess products. I didn't know until I got to my desk and looked at the package. It's over a month expired! Read Expiration date before buying anything there. You would think that the check their products especially foods for Expiration Dates!
