Grand Haven Vinegar and Oil

I work at a sandwich shop down the street and we use her balsamic vinegar for our most popular sandwich. Because of this, I find myself running down to her shop quite often for refills. The owner is one of the most charming and sweet ladies i’ve ever met, and really gets to know her customers. Not to mention the balsamic is TO DIE FOR. Overall amazing products and even better environment and personality.

My mom and I visited having never been in before and had the most amazing service and experience. What a lovely store with great product and people. Will recommend to everyone.

Awesome stuff, and the lady at the counter was so nice! The vinegars and oils are superb, though you may want to bring a lot of money. You do get what you pay for, though. That stuff is great!

I never really liked balsamic on salads until I tried this place. The olive oil was also outstanding alongside the service. 10/10 would recommend.

We love, love, love their ghost pepper salt and have repurchased it MANY times. I just purchased the habanero heat salt and can't wait to try it. Always friendly service. Highly recommend.

What an amazing little store! The owner Marilyn was such a gem 😊 She is so knowledgeable and helpful!! I will definitely be back as I was looking for the small bottles of the vinegars and oils and my local Cheese Lady has stopped selling them. Stopped in to pick up some Tucson Olive oil and taste some of their other vinegars/oils. There was not one that we didn’t like. The lady working was so nice and very knowledgeable. She made it an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend stopping in!!

We were in Grand Haven on vacation and doing a little window shopping. My teenage son wants to be a chef, so we decided to stop in here. Glad we did! The owner is super helpful and knowledgeable and let us try many of the oils and vinegars. We bought several smaller bottles of various oils and vinegars, but we got the big bottle of the Tuscan Herb - that one was super good! I now wish we had gotten larger bottles of some of the other ones, too. We also got some salts. I wish we lived closer as I would definitely be a regular shopper.

Marilyn is the Best! We loved her store and sampling all the different flavors of vinegar and balsamic oils. We were looking for a very specific flavor profile based on a different product we had used before and she knew exactly what to show us. She was super friendly and welcoming and now we will have to always buy from her!

Great store with an amazing amount of vinegar, oils, soaps and more. Owner is very passionate in what she does, and offers! The grand haven premium oil tastes great, and the cool John soap smells great!

Loved our experience at GHOV! The oils we tried were so flavorful. Bought a lot of small bottles so we could try many different flavors. Our daughter sat at the little picnic table while we shopped. The staff was amazing and was very helpful on recommendations. Will be back!

Came in here curious how a store could sell only oils and vinegars… Was blown away by the selection and walked out with a 4 pack sampler.
Staff was extremely nice, providing recommendations and asking questions about our flavor palette. She ended up giving us a free oil sampler to pair with our vinegar.

We were traveling through Grand Haven for a 35th anniversary getaway, and found this fabulous shop! The owner was so helpful in maintaining safety precautions, but also allow us to have a great tasting experience. We loved it so much that we made a special detour to stop by again on our way home!

Absolutely can not say enough nice things about this place. Marilyn (so sorry if I spelled your name wrong), the owner, is wonderful person and a pleasure to be around. She made my wife and I feel like we've known her for years! We ended up getting the Organic Tuscan Herb olive oil and Garlic Salt. The olive oil is fantastic and can be used in so many dishes. We're planning on making a seafood pasta with an garlic butter olive oil sauce to start. The garlic salt is going on a delicious ribeye along with roasted garlic cloves and a rosemary sprig. I already know that when this olive oil runs out, I'm buying online. We'll definitely be back next time we're around the Grand Rapids area!

Discovered this place 2 years ago while driving through MI. I usually don't care for the bitter after taste that olive oils leaves behind in my mouth. This is hands down the best olive oil! I do not live in MI anymore so I have ordered twice from them. So excited to try more flavors!

I love this place! When I visit my mom I always stop in a pick up more oils. I love the basil olive oil! They have so many varieties of oils and vinegars. The lady who runs it is so nice and always remembers me.

I needed a gift, a perfect gift, and I entered V & O at the invitation of it's attractive storefront. Inside, the layout and displayed products made it easy to focus, and the knowledgable and engaging woman ( the proprietor) made my gift buying episode a total pleasure. Together we assembled a lovely gift bag of products that was an absolute hit at a party that night! Everything about this wonderful store was wonderful.

This is a lovely specialty shop with unique items for sale. Don't leave without purchasing the Tuscan olive oil. Makes everything you cook taste delicious. Marilyn is friendly and helpful.

BEST STIRE EVER. Marilyn is so helpful and nice. Any thing you need to know about pairing the vinegar and oils she will help you with. Its a gem of a store
