Dixie Sports gives the Arkansas Concealed Carry classes and asks if a person has a CHL if ordering firearms to be delivered to their shop. Most people know that a background check is required and that if you have a CHL you may take possession of your transferred gun at the time you fill out the required Form 4473. If you do not have a CHL then they call the customers info in to NICS and a 3 day wait is generally the reply. They share this information over the phone when people ask about buying a firearm onliine and having Dixie transfer it. Some people think Constitutional carry allows gun transfers as if they had a CHL. You may hava a firearm in your car on K-12 property with a CHL, but it is a felony if you don't. He was congenial at first then started asking a series of questions and asked if I had any children in school and the laws about guns and schools.. If you don't want to listen to a lecture about the legalities of carrying a gun on school grounds. I did not feel any confidence in his rambling about concealed carry and inability to answer specific questiona.
