May's Candy Shop

What a treat it was to buy some fudge from May’s! I found this place on TikTok of all places. Made the trek to the island to try some of this fudge and I wasn’t disappointed. The fudge is so creamy! I love the interior of the shop. I could almost feel, taste and smell the history. Keep up with the tradition and the TikToks!

I sampled as much fudge from the other shops. As I know a bit about fudge May's is the best. Creamy, fwanderful flavor and no bitter aftertaste. And I saw actual ingredients.
If i ever get back to Mackinawi will come back to buy here.

The only fudge we buy and it never disappoints! The May family are wonderful people and have kept the heart of shop running and the place people come back to year after year. For a great experience and delicious fudge, don't miss out on their shop!

They have excellent customer service. The best part was the samples, their employee let us try any fudge we wanted. The other places had very limited samples. And we felt the fudge was much better here. You will not be disappointed.

My favorite fudge on the island! Peanut butter chocolate was the family favorite. It’s sweet, melt in your mouth yummy goodness! Will be back next summer!

Placed my order and received it in North Carolina within a few days! Everything arrived in one piece and is SOOO Good! Brings back many memories of summers on the island. Ordered 3 slices of fudge: Mermaid (blue raspberry), cherry, and salted caramel, as well as peanut brittle. Everything was so fresh and wonderful!

It's only natural for the shops & stores on Mackinac to feel very tourist-y. However, May's was a homey respite from the otherwise very commercial-feeling shopping scene on the main drag of the island.

Skip the Ryba monopoly and get delicious fudge from this "mom-and-pop" shop.

My wife and I spent too much money buying chocolate walnut fudge from each vendor on the island. After a taste test, my wife decided that she liked May's fudge the best.

Amazing fudge and very friendly service! And absolutely amazing special recipe love potion fudge who knew chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and hazelnut fudge would be so wonderful!

Omg seriously THE BEST fudge, my friend bought some from another shop and it did not even come close in comparison. Alana (sorry if misspelled) was extremely sweet, helpful, and made our overall experience very pleasant. Can't wait to come back in the future.
