Trading Post

Had a great time on mackinac island. Stopped in this little gem and bought my nieces and nephews a bunch of Toys and tee shirts. Great prices !!!

Wonderful store.

We had to look for something to bring home my little brothers. We found giant squishies here. They were $10 each though, which is expensive.

Pull over I bought had Mackinac Island printed on the inside and not on the outside!!

Touristy store. Obviously they are not very welcoming to shoppers... Just read the signs that say... "Please keep handling of merchandise to a minimum."

Anyways it is mostly Chinese junk stuff. There's better stores on the island with more friendly people there. Nothing really unique here. Location was close to the docks I'm pretty sure that the main reason they get business.

Perfect place to bring your little kid to play with junk then beg you to buy it so they can take home a souvenir that they will never play with or it will break as soon as they get home.

Hard pass on this place.

Got a very hateful attitude from one of the workers because my son accidentally stepped in front of her. Then I heard her complaining about a customer that picked up a shirt and didn’t fold it back the way she liked it. Guess what?! Folding the shirts is YOUR JOB! That is literally what you get paid for. If you cannot deal with customers looking at items, and picking them up then clearly you need to find a new job. I will not give my money to someone that has that kind of attitude with people spending their hard earned money in their business. I told my kids to lay down their stuff, and I laid down my stuff and walked out. I will spend my money where they can at least fake good customer service.

The sweatpants we purchased for my daughter came to $28.57 and she was so sad when, upon first wash, the lettering started falling off in the dryer. If sweats are this much, the lettering should NOT fall off. Bad quality. Not worth it.

They sell overpriced garbage first of all. Second the man behind the counter must weigh over 400 pounds.

Awful service. Was racially profiled here and followed around for a very long time. The person working there was incredibly rude and basically threw the products I ordered on the table without a bag.

She yelled at my daughter for looking at a toy. Bad experience in that store!

Bought one thing in this store while on vacation. Got home and found they charged my card twice.

Horrible older women at the cashier. Just terrible people.

The two older women at the register were extremely rude!!
