Dollar General

Kyle has made a great improvement to the Roland DG! He is a hard worker and always nice and helpful! The store is clean and organized, and I can usually always find what I'm needing and they have good deals here!

I haven't been to this particular one very often but I do like the layout and the staff. They are always friendly. I do have one issue and that is on my last trip there was a line of more than 4 and even with the cashier asking for help nobody ever came she was in over her head, but did not let it get to her or at least let it show. She kept a smile on her face apologized and tried to get everyone out as fast as possible. As someone who once worked for dollar General I was always taught that if you have more than 4 people in line then the other person on the clock manager or whoever is to come open another register to help. I felt so bad for the poor girl at the register as some people were not very understanding. I took it upon myself to explain that it was not her fault and she was doing the best that she could. And that the other person should have immediately came to help. Once the lady had finished with everyone and it was my turn she yet again apologized and was almost in tears due to the rude customers ahead of me. She tanked me for taking up for her. And just as she scanned my last item , this other woman appeared and with a very snooty attitude looks at the young lady and says oh I see you just need so much help. At this point I lost it. I explained to the other woman that this young lady had not only checked out 6 people and was finishing up with me at this time that she had not only been professional about it, but it was not here fault for the long line. It was the other woman's fault. I then informed the young lady I would contact the district office. This is not the first time I habe seen this in the few times that I habe been to this store. I felt so sorry for the young lady.

Dollar General is a Fairly convenient place to go and yet small items. They are located everywhere. I would not use them has a shopping center due to their prices. But for a quick on the go meal they're good to go

Good service friendly staff, always helpful but under pressure because there isnt enough help for them to do it all alone. But overall good managers and clean well maintained store

The workers are always helpful and polite, and I can usually get what I need there. Because this town is rural I wish they had produce, even if it's seasonally.

Dollar store is always a good place to go and save money and they got most everything that I need saves me from having to walk 12 miles and Walmart for a box of crackers LOL
