Shaw's

They are the Albertson's of Massachusetts. The cashiers and workers are really nice and helpful. My spouse and I shop here often for their great deals and clean store. I just wish they made and sold jalapeño cheese bread or at least cheese bread like they do in other states.

Great people always very helpful and pleasant. I spoke with the 2 guys in Meat and the 1 in Seafood because I had questions about the weekend deals.I was in today 12/30/22 at a little after 8AM. The ladies and gentlemen who help check me out were awesome. Elaine Z was my cashier and Mike P and Diane help bag my groceries. Please let them all know I appreciate them all.

Giving a huge thanks to Brandy Lee in the floral department!! She created these beautiful corsages for our ladies at our nursing home. It really made their Mother’s Day special!!

Crystal in the bakery department is the best! Friendly, helpful, professional, timely and talented. She went above and beyond to help me with a last minute cake. I will now only shop at Shaws! Thank you, Crystal!

Love this store! Moved here from Illinois and was trying to find a go to grocery store. It's always clean, well lit, stocked, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good location. Staff is never a disappointment. I've been going here for 20 years... place can only get better. If they always try. I go here to not deal with the stress of market basket and definitely not dealing with the bad products from stop and shop..

This store had the freshest, most beautiful produce of any grocery store. Whoever stocks the store is doing an amazing job. For example, the cut pineapple is always good. The staff are uniformly friendly, much more so than anywhere else I’ve experienced. Small, never easy, and very clean.

Very friendly associates. Clean and well stocked. Not overly crowded. Good prices. This will be my go to grocery store while I am in town.

Not as busy as Market Basket, has everything you need, and customer service is better. Prices are a little higher.. but worth it.. and their Three Day meat sales are always great.. oh yeah.. and the new Just For You app usually works and adds bonus deals to some items already on sale!

I got sick and tired of Market Basket being forever crowded and always out of things, so I crossed the parking lot to give Shaws a try. They had everything I wanted, stuff I hadn't seen available in months, and much better looking produce. Bye Bye MB~ don't got time for that no more.

I don't shop anywhere else for food. During the week I use Salem, Ma shaw's and weekends I'm on the south shore and use the Mansfield, Ma store. Best service, always clean, stocked, fast in and out. Employees are always friendly, helpful and have great attitudes. And between the justforu app and digital coupons my savings is usually 30-40% off my total. I love shaw's. The app needs work though.

If you don't want to fight all of the people going to Market Basket, Shaw's is on the other end of the parking lot with great prices, they have an awesome bakery and Sea food is top notch. You can get in and out much more quickly than the other supermarket in the plaza.

Pretty solid selection. Very helpful staff, especially in the Deli department. Not mobbed like Market Basket and with the app you can get some great deals.

I must praise a most enthusiastic employee at the Highland Ave, Salem, MA Shaw's. For several minutes, enjoying a lunch break in my car, I observed GEORGE retrieving the shopping carts. He ran into the lot, wrangled the wagons, and muscled them into the store. Repeatedly. With the same determination and efficiency each time. At other stores, I've seen men doddle out to the lot, slowly retreiving one wagon, then one more, stopping to scroll through their cell phones, and half-heartedly heave-hoing back across the parking lot. Not George. The Salem Shaw's is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee. George is all about business! 👏👏👏👏👏
